  1. there were a number of decent scraps and Shlein/Lambert in 13 was excellent.Above average for Foxhall
  2. I certainly wouldnt class a team mate as an oponent I certainly wouldnt class a team mate as an oponent
  3. didnt realise you were there Ruff - shouldve come and said hello 😉
  4. The debate is around the wording of the regs.I along with some others read it that an exclusion can only be for infriging an opponent and not your team mate. Therefore Pawel would be the prime cause for falling and not Riss for causing him to fall.
  5. Newcastle favourites for me but its very close to call and almost any pair could pull it off.
  6. Sedge in heat 6 was shocking the way he just shut off when Lambert cut back under him. Then just pootled at the back without looking likely to get back on the same bend as the rest. Points or no points is not the issue - its down to effort. Contrast that to how Nathan got stuck in trading places with Doolan. Didnt get the place and points but gave it everything and earned the respect accordingly. Sedge could yet prove a trump card - he is that kind of rider. Think most of it is down to confidence. How to get him back in 'in the zone' is the question...
  7. perhaps it will be a while as they are on the way home from the meeting....
  8. all the years ive known you and didnt realise you were from Norfolk and had never noticed that 7 fingered hand of yours 😛
  9. if he is released then he will be 1 home match short of the 4 required to attain a new 2017 average
  10. Unfortunately I think what is ideally needed is almost the exact opposite and totally impossible. IMO its the outside going out that would make more lines. The exits and straights being wider would give the outside blast more chance. How many times have we seen crashes at the end of the air fences panels/start of the straight as the line narrows? Dont think the stocks would be too happy with that though 😛
  11. Yes - and against the grain of all previous Newcastle visits. So it can only be better ☺
  12. Should have been no facility for him with him riding everywhere else but not 8n Britain
  13. RR for Lindgren is for compassionate reasons according to the website.... ...but Ive just watched him live on Premier Sports in tonights Swedish match... So what is the reason that means he needs compassionate leave for Thursday but not tonight??
  14. Not sure it matters what shape a track is built when it is prepared like that. IMO that was a shocking racing surface.
  15. Best of luck to both of them Howarth situation looking even worse unfotunately 😬
  16. Kyle withdrawn at Leicester after heat 1 tumble Hope its just precautionary....
  17. Quite likely the best option out there - there are not many about and available around 4. He did much better than I expected for Somerset early doors. Should be a reliable reserve.
  18. Im currently very annoyed with the Peterborough threads.... With Gater , Sly and Team Logan I am in danger of being seen as sensible 😜
  19. Comfortable win for Boro Lambert back and being able to track the full 1-7 gives the side a good balance and arguably the strongest team on paper in the league. As a Witches fan that was probably the most favourable result for us today with Redcar getting nothing 👍
  20. Its not just Wright and Redcar - every concussion has a mandatory MINIMUM lay off dependant on the riders age. To resume after this the rider has to be assessed and confirmed fit before being allowed to do so. Perhaps as it is a Sunday the most logical and straightforward solution to this is to utilise the paramedic team at the track. Im partial to the odd conspiracy theory but this one is just that - ODD
  21. Wouldnt the dirt piled up against the fence have been saturated and likely to have caused more problems than it solved if dragged back down??
  22. If we did give up Foxhall and travel weekly (or should that be sporadically when the landlord allows 😜) to the EoES I think its safe to say its the opposition that would get out support 😀
  23. Some shoot from the hip.... Gater 1 it seems is from somewhere close to that but just a bit further round the back 😛 I like a (friendly) little dig at the Panthers but even I think his last efforts cross the line. There are 2 main points of Geds tenure which stand out for me 1) He has stabilised the club and from all reports attendances are up and make speedway at Peterborough sustainable 2) There is no doubt he has being successful at the heart of his aims. So far effort has been greater than execution but he still has more chance of it than those teams that dont try in the first place.
  24. youre one of us now Baldy - no escape now even if you try by missing the odd meeting 😛
