  1. A very different story to the post match summary from his Polish team manager who stated there was almost no sign of the injury and rhythm would return with more riding.....
  2. The Director was obviously hurt by the criticism of his tight camera angles and so has responded by commissioning the drone in an orbit around Mars!!
  3. Not getting 'worked up' and it isn't about the two young riders. The principle is the regs and bypassing the fact that Harrison doesn't qualify as a guest by redeclaration every week (potentially) being manipulation Whether it's important or 'morally right' makes no difference
  4. The riders and their abilities are irrelevant when assessing manipulation imo If a situation is being used to bypass a section of the regs then it is manipulation. If you want to talk about advantage then being able to choose from 2 options is still an advantage regardless of the points they may or may not score
  5. Spot on - for the top league it is this calibre of rider that should be the rising star if any at all The 2nd tier is the best place for this type of scheme overall imo
  6. I can see your point and its certainly a valid and reasonable position but not one that the regulations supports To be on the list your have to commit to the scheme. If they can't commit then they shouldn't be on the list regardless if their NDL status
  7. Quite possibly - the no one else picked him line does seem rather unlikely So that instance may or may not be. One thing indisputable is the situation at Lynn 100% is manipulation.....
  8. Perhaps they have realised Harrison ISNT eligible to guest after all....... On the redeclaration us outgoing average is 3.16 and Boughen shows as 3 The rotating declaration is just another manipulation of the regs to effectively allow Harrison to guest
  9. Some common sense, professional organisation and co-operation which doesn't always seem to be the case! Despite this potentially being difficult for the Witches returning riders I applaud keeping the KO Cup on track All too often it is kicked aside and run in late October in horrendous conditions
  10. So the idea wasn't bad but the execution was....... Of course a blanket reset each year isn't likely to work. As you say tweaks needed in the regs as it develops Also agree the non Brits minimum average should be retained and raised
  11. Those poor Leicester fans who have paid out to travel when it could've been called off yesterday......
  12. It's quite sad to realise that Ipswich regularly took more fans to Lynn than attend in total at the majority of tracks today In fact if you take the exceptional 98 season that would be true for the majority of away meetings anywhere! Yet now its a small band of hardy souls in the main
  13. Just taking the opportunity for a wind up Still watching and following from a short distance
  14. Yeah they can do that - in that circumstance his average is irrelevant Too late to redeclare now though so stuck with the guest situation for Thursday
  15. You need to read the regulations (quoted in Aries post above) Average is taken into account when a RS guest is needed Witches need to press this as a point of principle The Kvech taking 2 RS rides was allowable by the regs although morally wrong. Harrison riding may be morally correct but isn't allowable within the regs - you can't have it both ways......
