The riders and their abilities are irrelevant when assessing manipulation imo If a situation is being used to bypass a section of the regs then it is manipulation. If you want to talk about advantage then being able to choose from 2 options is still an advantage regardless of the points they may or may not score

You need to read the regulations (quoted in Aries post above) Average is taken into account when a RS guest is needed Witches need to press this as a point of principle The Kvech taking 2 RS rides was allowable by the regs although morally wrong. Harrison riding may be morally correct but isn't allowable within the regs - you can't have it both ways......
