  1. So that would mean either the UK didn't make the necessary submission, the Gernan Federation has ignored it or Blordorn made the choice not to ride in the UK
  2. Indeed - at Foxhall when some of us starting using horns, cow bells and a megaphone a few moved and one poor old dear dropped a stitch on her knitting
  3. Yes indeed in general - but this is Kings Lynn and you have to always start optimistically
  4. Didn't even read the post as couldn't get past the memories of Jet Set Willy on the Spectrum from back in the day
  5. Back in the day a decent Good Friday could financially secure the season at Ipswich Often attracted 4,000 plus
  6. At least we now have a little more idea of what the fox is going on
  7. Steady on - let's not jump the gun with such drastic actions!
  8. Well if Tom has ambitions to reach the top then he needs to keep progressing as he has done to date A great opportunity to push on to that 'real No1' status
  9. There can be no stand off - its ride in the British Final or nowhere as per the regs
  10. Village fete it is then Anyone interested in tickets for the tombola? 25p each or 5 for £1 - numbers ending with 5 win a packet of cuppa soup...
  11. The seating at Ipswich was sourced from the temporary capacity required for the Olympics Perhaps there could be opportunities (for any club not just Belle Vue) to secure better podium options after future Commonwealth Games for example
  12. An important part of season planning for a professional sport as set out by Dave However as is seen through this winter it seems that others want to reset the sport to the level of a village fete.....
  13. Could get beaten more than an egg and it wouldn't matter Form is temporary, Class is permanent
  14. The season is 1 day old and just 1 meeting in and King's Lynn has lost at home already After the turmoil of the winter some normality at last
  15. A positive move Whether it was part of their initial plan or if it shows quick and decisive action after taking on feedback either is welcome No scheme will be 100% to everyone's liking but it is a significant improvement on the initial offering I can see Blu's point re transport but I don't see a solution to that within speedways remit
  16. I can see where you ate coming from but saying they can't afford to make it less just means they ultimately get less - eg £0
  17. Easy to compare £45 with £75 when you are the father and his two sons with the choice to make.....
  18. Ipswich Town have under 19 and under 23 prices Season tickets work out approx £9 and £13 per match respectively My adult season ticket is cheaper per match than the speedway!!
