  1. Don't be a mug - that is a pathetic post I am confident I am close to the mark put ot that way
  2. Difficult to argue with the first line but after that you suggestion re one big league at Championship level in pie in the sky You would need those junior league riders to be part of the new one big league and run it at a NDL+ level to fill the teams I expect we will all see that in action in 2027......
  3. Again the "Championship have got this right" line comes out But no acknowledgement that to build to what they are planning requires a Premiership Without it you have 2 choices One big league with a drastic reduction in standard with the exodus of all top riders The liss of 4-5 clubs making the Championship the defacto 'top league' with a significant increase in costs to maintain a similar standard or the loss of a number of the remaining top end riders certain in 2027 even if 2026 muddles through
  4. Wait for 2027 - British Speedway is going to need to find 20 to 30 'Tobias Thomsens' to have any chance of operating......
  5. Does that fit with my previous post on another thread stating Oxford had been saying they would continue in the Premiership at all official meetings whilst in the background having different intentions?
  6. Which points towards my thought that the Championship in order to continue (on its current form) does indeed need the Premiership 2027 is going to be a whole different challenge if Poland gets its way - and needs to be sorted before the 2026 season starts
  7. But still no response that sets out what the 'alternative truth' is...... Still waiting for someone (anyone) to put up what the numbers actually are if mine are not a reasonable reflection
  8. 10 days on and despite a few bits of bluff, bluster and deflection I can't see one reply that has been able to disprove either the figures quoted OR the principle behind it Given the hundreds of pages and thousands of posts on numerous threads concerning 2026 I'm taking that to mean my statement is closer to the truth than many are prepared to admit.......
  9. Hang on, hang on But there are loads of riders and one big league could work wonderfully Now all of a sudden a missing Pickering would cause a lack of options!!
  10. Perhaps Terry Russell Licence on ice - does that situation run out this year? Swindon won't be ready Links to Doyle and Ellis Arguably owes the sport given his gain from the Sky deals.....
  11. Will they let them in to their wonderful panacea of perfectness??
  12. Would a new owner have a choice? I think the Championship clubs would block a new entry
  13. Perhaps if initially there are only sufficient riders for 9-10 teams there should be a tender process for licences in that league Win the bid and you are in and if you don't no league place for you....
  14. I've never much liked the look of a dog with no tail Fair enough - forget Crufts and go with the mungrels.....
  15. So you're saying it needs to be Premiership standard Instead we have something very much in tune with the general malaise of British Speedway.....
  16. Because it won't end up being what suits them - it's not feasible to continue in that form if the rest fails It's looking very much like no one will get what they want and everyone will be unhappy!
  17. It was to highlight a point that many arguing re the potential league set ups (whether 2026 or beyond) don't seem able to grasp
  18. That's the spirit - let's close down 5 clubs so that we're OK
  19. If the Witches did end up in 1 big league I'd expect you can forget Brennan Rew and Ellis too. All likely to be Poland bound I'd think
