  1. The best ever IMO - and that's from a Witches fan that would love to say the 1998 was the best
  2. Would've been in the RS position with protected heats rather than the No6 so it will be more difficult for him Personally I think he will do well enough particularly if he can get early confidence from some decent home form That's certainly an area that is in his favour with the choice he has made
  3. The Championship clubs didn't want it either though!
  4. If its a flashing light it still works half of the time
  5. And people wonder why so many riders have called it quits over the last few years....
  6. Rather ironic really that when one big league is discussed and the loss of the star rider is lamented by some it is defended by others stating "you still get great races with the likes of Simon Lambert" "great team man" "we could do with more like Simon Lambert" "we need to develop and look after our own" yet even the team that is signing the one we have don't seem greatly enthusiastic about it!! Surely every team should be fighting over him.......
  7. Now that would be interesting if he was to throw his hat in the ring with NORA and challenge the status quo
  8. Could depend on sponsors and which of them you would prefer to have
  9. Are bears constipated whilst standing in the woods? Is the Pope Muslim?
  10. I think its most years that you don't notice whether they have turned up or not
  11. Traditional timescale is late Jan early Feb isn't it?
  12. You can count the number of riders that have been good enough to be truly competitive at the top level from entry on your fingers so that argument is a little flawed Once they are of the required standard if they had to pick one over the other the choice would be near unanimous for the higher level
  13. I expect that Adams presence will be significant in the Ipswich pits in 2026
  14. Quite ironic given that he has probably been one of the biggest beneficiaries of 'how the sport has been allowed to drift'
  15. Surely your not admitting that the Championship is totally reliant on the Premiership and that without it you don't get the riders you want/need.....
  16. Perhaps it's just unaffordable for one or other party....
  17. A Jarek Hampel type?? Not the worst role model to have..... To be fair he has improved greatly year on year and is one of a relatively small band that has the capability of moving up to higher levels May not be the box office mega signing like an Emil but not as shabby as some may think
  18. It has been applied to EVERY rider leaving the scheme - including Jenkins himself The debate is whether he qualifies a second time
  19. Kurtz not signed for the Speedway Team Benevolent Fund ((I mean Belle Vue - sorry Ouch) so there is hope yet
