Agreed, for this year a better option might have been that the team limit should have been the highest that any club had as at the point the new averages were calculated. They could have then started with a proper average for 2018.

If there was not a team limit and the top riders were prepared to tell Poland to stuff their rule I think Killer would be back at Swindon.

Agreed, when I watch car racing I am looking at the action on the track not how many people are there. If the place was packed but the racing awful people would not go, if you had no crowd at all but brilliant racing on a good track people would.

Don't they run and receive the gate money from certain meetings, ie British Championship etc. Where they slipped up was not being part of the organisation running the World Championships and getting a cut from that, in fact each federation should have done that.

It is different which is why I raised the question the other day about who decides the time period after a bout of concussion. I was talking to Nick thurs and after practice on thurs and a medical check up he could have ridden if cleared to.

If needed hope he can ride on friday then.

One issue is that being a Poole asset would he be looking to reduce his average at the end of the season ?

It was good of Brady to stand in at the last min and I assume he does not live too far away. He was unlikely to match Nick but after his first two rides I thought he would get more points. Will need to see how he goes when Poole visit.

Great night and result for the Robins. A few said that Adam would do well at reserve, but the improvement was more than just being at reserve with beating some of the riders he did, especially heat 10 when he kept ahead of Jacob on a TR. It was good to see the improvement from David and even Zach scored an impressive 5+3. Bradley started slowly but picked up later in the meeting and Batch was definitely the Man of the match with a good 11 points. I was a bit disappointed with Brady only getting 5 but then you always wonder if a guest from Poole is wise. An unexpected but welcome 3 points

There was talk by a member of the management that when the new stadium was built that they would want to hold the World Cup there. What they did not realise was that there will be limited parking and numbers allowed in by the H&S has been slashed.

That is a bit of luck that Dany is ill and we now have Brady for Nick and r/r for Dany. We might now win this one if Troy and Brady find the track to their liking and if Adam ups his game.

I wonder if they will change the rule that the home nation gets a place in the final by then ? Have said before the host nation should be seeded through to the run off where the top two go through to the final to join the winners of the previous two meetings earlier in the week.

A lot would depend on who decided 9 days out for concussion, if it was a few of the bspa then it is questionable, if a concussion specialist then it should be the period specified. Apparently Nick has been seen by a doctor so the decision should be up to the doctor if he feels Nick is ok to ride. It does seem daft about not being able to bring in a second guest if the manager chooses.

If it turns out that we have r/r for Nick, that will not be good. This will show that the team apart from Jason and Nick will need to improve.

I accept that there still might be a question as to is Nick clear to ride or not but a meeting write up and notification of other riders should be on the website by now. We know Batch is riding in place of Jason but is Dany riding or not and if yes is he riding at 2 or 4. Adam has moved to a reserve position and hopefully should be able to get lots of points and even take one of Danys rides.

With Stadia involved no one should be surprised if they convince the Council to do that.
