Did think about him a few years ago when he had an after meeting ride. He is a mate of Nicks but he does not seem to have improved much, otherwise I am sure we might have seen him, even as a guest. Not sure how he has done recently.
Sounds good but it would not take too long for the recess that the gate goes into to fill up with shale and stop the gates receding below the racing surface. If the clogging issue could be sorted then the start system might be good.
What ever happens they have got to sort something out as most people are fed up with restarts.
It is slightly worrying that this track which is getting a lot of flack, and rightly so, having watched the meeting on saturday is run by the Chairman of the bspa. Surely the chairman should be looking to set standards for the rest.
But if you have a bad track like the one on saturday it would not matter. If the US and Czech were in the meeting tonight they would still be outclassed and be racing each other.
Agreed but the people who run the World Cup could have insisted that any club in the UK that wants a round has to produce a decent track. If there were other options it should not have been allocated to KL.
With all the gaps in clubs meetings in the last couple of months I am surprised that Mark or Rosco have not tried to set up a series of Eng - Aus, under say 23, matches around the country. This would have helped the riders and given the managers of GB and Aus an idea of how the youngsters are progressing in a pressure situation.
