I tend to agree with the thoughts you have but what is strange is that Swindon has just transferred a second rider into the team. Another Premiership team is possibly not going to continue next year. Why would Swindon be buying "assets"?, maybe go speed know something about 2018. -
Swindon just announced that Tobiasz has just been signed for Swindon as a full transfer from Wolves. Well done Swindon. Probably yet to be agreed by the bspa but very good news from what we have seen from him so far.

Leicester Lions Vs Swindon Robins 17/07/17
A ORLOV replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The Robins luck seems to be turning, we have recently beaten the top two in the league, Wolves and BV x 2 . On wed we have those pesky pirates to deal with down in Dorset, who through luck are 5 points ahead of us, at the moment. Jason might return on wed, but we have been doing well when he is not riding , and if we can pick up more points on wed and thursday the top 4 will be very close. This new rider Tobi has been a very good signing so far and he and the rest of the team deserve a hell of a response during the rider presentations at the start of the meeting on thursday. -

For anyone who has not seen them heat 13 and 15 are available on the interthingy from @btsport. Hope Pawel P and Kyle Newman for Leicester are ok and Batch after being knocked off and replaced in heat 15. Swindon took advantage of the accidents and injuries to Leicester and turned the meeting round in heats 12 and 13 with two 5-1s, then a great heat 15. Tobi was the rider of the night for Swindon and seems to be enjoying his racing over here. Roll on wed and our visit to Poole. Edited to change Howarth to Newman. -

At least or even better keep him for the meeting at Swindon on 27th -
I like that idea as have always been concerned that our riders score for another Prem team could keep us out of the playoffs, even if it means we cannot replace a number 1 rider, the rest of the team should move up one place.
-
His injury had been treated enough on the fri morning to allow him to ride.
-
But Batch had an injury, so the medic would have had to had signed him out in order for the club to use irr.

I am surprised they know how one works. -

C Cook did alright there as did D King, but Craig seems to be having issues since the WC. If they have got to ride against KK we would not need a top scorer -

So a track specialist might be visiting Wed if Jason needs that extra day rest. -

It can go back to basics, train up youngsters, that if are really good can then join clubs abroad that want them. The sport can cost less because of standardised engines and highly tuned bikes etc can be banned. I have enjoyed watching the two lower leagues and would happily do that than no speedway. It may be the case that in a few years Poland loses its power and the restrictions about who can ride there might change. -

So when the tv money does run out, which could be Oct this year, from what you are saying it seems the Premiership league will cease to exist. That would answer a few questions about certain things that seem to be happening. -

Agreed, but the jewel in the crown this week will be a second win at Poole on wed. -

If the robins perform as they have recently we should get at least 3 points from this. -
Have a good time, being in the pits is good, have been there a few times.
-
Yes, the same mob are looking to redevelop Poole Stadium as well which is worrying for them.
-
I think Batch has signed a "guest contract" for us, he is riding for us again at Leicester on monday, good for him. Rosco should have got an eighth pair of Swindon leathers made up.
-
Lahti has improved since his Eastbourne days and should have been a replacement for K K.
-
Have run out of likes but like all the above posts. What a great result and performance from all the riders, 4 points will start to move us up the league, that is 7 points from BV in 2 days. What is good is that tonight BWD with paid max improved his performance. It now seems that different riders are doing well in different meetings. Thanks must go to Batch for helping us out again. Leicester, Poole and Rye House had better be on top form week.
