  1. If you look at who scored what and where, in 2017 Sweden beat us and we came 4th, Sweden got 42 points and we got 15, if the round we won to get to the final was not at Kings Lynn we would have not even qualified for the final. In 2016 the WC was at Manchester, so we had home advantage and a certain T W who scored 19 points where we came 2nd. If Tai had not been riding Sweden would have likely beaten us again. I agree that it seems that Sweden and Denmark do not have many good young riders coming through but our riders need experience abroad not only against foreign riders but on the size of tracks over there as well. We are not a match for the Poles at the moment but any experience, even against the Swedes and Danes, can only do our riders good. Rosco is taking the riders over to Torun next year for training etc which is a good start.
  2. Agree, you have got a couple of tough matches coming up but Poole are having a bad run at the moment.
  3. Think you might mean KK. KKS is the complete idiot with multiple ids on this forum.
  4. Will see how your team gets on in the Championship next year
  5. For the time being, but you have 2 matches against BV, 2 against Wolves and 1 against Somerset, you are just lucky you have no more against Swindon. The above can cause you a lot of problems, in fact even Rye with KK at reserve could shock your lot the way they are the pirates are performing at the moment.
  6. It is a pity that Ayres seems to be under performing this year as he would have been a good guest at Swindon.
  7. BV seem to have gone off the boil recently so you might be lucky to get a few points but do not count on it. Poole is lucky that KL are not performing as they should have been otherwise Poole would be heading out of the top 4.
  8. We just need to have experience against any other nations teams as we have become worse in the world standings. All countries have poor times as Denmark are at the moment. It seems to be the case that all these other countries have proper training schemes and allow much younger riders to race in leagues than we do. Just look at the standard of most of the Aussie youngsters that arrive in the UK as opposed to ours. Now more and more Brit youngsters are racing and a few are taken abroad to get experience which is something that needs to be expanded if we ever want to perform better than we did last night .
  9. That is because it always rains at BV so they did not want to risk the cost of setting up for a rained off meeting
  10. The alternative is for all the Brit riders to refuse to ride for GB as without a professional attitude and backing from the authorities they are all wasting their time, It will not be long before Team GB will need to qualify for the SWC, what a joke. If someone shakes the bspa, gets backing to run test matches both here and on the continent then Team GB might be able to compete with the likes of Poland and Denmark etc. Which followed other top Brit riders who refused to ride for those who ran Team GB, so that gives the impression it is the authorities and not the riders who need to sort themselves out. Any very good rider that has to work with for a group who cannot see what is wrong soon becomes fed up with them and just walks away.
  11. Well tonights meeting just showed where GB stands in the world standings and how much needs to be done by the bspa, who unfortunately, are responsible for our standard of riders, if we are to improve. Like him or not Tai was in the pits tonight trying to help out, he has got to be bought back into the GB set up as he knows more about what the team needs than the whole of the bspa.
  12. Thanks for the tv link R&R brilliant picture.
  13. He borrowed Matts calculator and rule book on thurs which informed him he could get Kildemand on a 3 average.
  14. Think, they could all meet up in the same room and ask each other, there again it did say it did not have a girlfriend, maybe it could discuss it with its doll.
  15. This was as you were walking past the 4th bend, I assume after you had been viewing the pits as you came from that direction, I just stated that you did not look too happy so my comment was correct as was your meeting prediction.
  16. If Lynn can get their track sorted out and sort out all the issues with certain riders they could still get to the play offs as Poole are in free fall at the moment, but they are going to have to get sorted fast.
  17. You forgot Jeremy Corbyn Fan to add to the above and no doubt a couple of others.
  18. It looks like Matt slipped up in not getting KK to a reserve position and they have got to meet Rye twice in August where KK might run riot.
  19. I bet Matt wished he could have pulled that move off
  20. His signing at reserve could go either way, he picks up his scores and gets 7 rides a meeting or he gets beaten by a couple of other clubs reserves and becomes disillusioned. Swindon are at Rye House on Aug 5th which should be interesting unless he has to be in Poland that Saturday.
