Kings Lynn V Swindon 02/08/17
A ORLOV replied to therefused's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Looking at the forecast I have got there is rain due from 4pm till 11pm, I just hope that is wrong as there are a hell of a lot of meetings in Aug and we do not want many rain offs. -
If any rider can be kicked out at 5 mins notice loyalty goes of of the window. At the same time a club deserves to have riders that do not suddenly walk away from the club. If riders want loyalty they also need to give it and they need to stand together and refuse to sign any contracts that do not include conditions that work both ways, for the benefit of both parties.

When we had him he was originally threatened with the sack but he then improved and was brilliant for the rest of the season. I hope he can pick it up tonight. -

I hope so but it depends which Tungate you get. -
Cannot drag a link across but just type in wm radio and it gives you the various progs tonight.
-
I doubt it but there might be some radio coverage
-
That might be the case until the riders in Poland also get shafted.

Well lets see if you or anyone can predict KL team for wed, if it is not rained off. They have made so many changes and annoyed a few riders that may cause a few ructions. Even with the changes seen so far I can still see Swindon coming away with some points. -

Sorry about that, I will leave the prediction of rain/no rain or meeting/no meeting up to you -
I thought the transfers deadline was 28th, maybe the authorities were told to keep the notification quiet till today.
-
Oh dear that means 1 guest and R/R for Chris does it not if as I understand Chris is suspended.
-
I doubt if Lambert will be picked again until he has shown that he can ride against the Poles and score points
-
I mentioned this on the Somerset thread. Whoever scheduled all these meetings in August needs a kick up the ar#e. I saw a tweet of a monkey working a computer keyboard, it could have made a better job of the scheduling.

Has not Buster called a rain off yet, as the Swindon riders need notice to save travelling. -
Kildemand and Stefan Nielsen are Swindon "assets" and I think Zengota might be as well.
-
What about the meeting against Swindon this wed?
-
Assets you must be joking. If a club went along to a bank for money and showed a list of assets any value of them would be thrown out. They are as worth as much as a chocolate fire guard.

Especially as at that point of the meeting we had already won the meeting and our riders were taking it easy. -

Should be an easy win for Belle Vue -
If you look at who scored what and where, in 2017 Sweden beat us and we came 4th, Sweden got 42 points and we got 15, if the round we won to get to the final was not at Kings Lynn we would have not even qualified for the final. In 2016 the WC was at Manchester, so we had home advantage and a certain T W who scored 19 points where we came 2nd. If Tai had not been riding Sweden would have likely beaten us again. I agree that it seems that Sweden and Denmark do not have many good young riders coming through but our riders need experience abroad not only against foreign riders but on the size of tracks over there as well. We are not a match for the Poles at the moment but any experience, even against the Swedes and Danes, can only do our riders good. Rosco is taking the riders over to Torun next year for training etc which is a good start.
