Rosco reports that the top league has got to push for fixed race nights at the agm. The fixture planning this year has been awful and if the rest of August is wet we will have a major problem. We have 7 meetings scheduled between tonight and Sept 4th and many other clubs are in the same situation yet we have had weeks of no meetings during the season. Something has got to change as this has been a problem for a few years now. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2952.1

Swindon visit Somerset tonight after the rain off last night. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2950.1 Somerset have draughted in a couple of good guests in Josh Bates and Todd Kurtz and Swindon have James Sarjeant. This could be a close meeting but I think the Robins, some of whom go well at Somerset, can do well here.

Have just seen a tweet that we will not be racing Somerset next thursday but they hope to run a meeting. When you see that Somerset would need more guests than their own riders that is no surprise. -

Sorry I believed the BBC weather and another weather system which stated no rain. The forecast changed late as it hammered down as I arrived. I went and had a look at the track and there was a lake on bend 4 which they started pumping away but more rain was due so they called it off. Fans stated that with all the meetings scheduled in Aug that if we or other clubs had rain offs many of the clubs could be in trouble. -

Still bright, sunny and windy, no rain showers forecast anymore, so roll on 7.30. -

We had quite a bit of rain during the night but now is sunny and windy so the track should be fine. The forecast has changed and now just predicts a brief shower around 8pm, so the meeting should be ok. We are likely to get a win and three points which will increase our lead over BV at the top of the league. -
Is it ever ?

He probably lives in Lydiard where a few riders live and Bassett would be on his route to M4 J16, but you are right fuel is more expensive in Bassett.

If this is a Polish rider what happens if the Poles announce at the start of the 2018 season that in 2018 any top Polish league rider can only ride in Poland and nowhere else ?

Tonight Jason scored 3,3,2,2,2 12 and Nick 2,w,1,1 4+1 for Rospiggarna in their win over Indianerna in Sweden. This was Nicks first meeting for this club so hopefully his scores will improve as he gets to know the track.

This thursday Somerset visit Blunsdon and with the Robins having won 11 meetings on the trot we will be trying for 12. Swindon has Jason back at number 1 and Richard Hall as a reserve guest for Zach, and Somerset have Eddie Kennett, Kevin Doolan and Paul Starke guesting for them http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2945 I can see Swindon winning this meeting before we go to Somerset the following night.

Jason scored 3,2,0,2,2 9 in Poland.
-
He needs to get himself one of those suits the Michelin Man used to wear.
-
Tobi riding in Poland this afternoon scored 1,3,2,2,2,3 13+1.
-
I suppose Somerset might get one point for a close defeat or even more on the 28th if we are enough points ahead of BV.

With Wolves visiting next things do not look as if they are going to change. -

I posted that the track would be smaller than the present one.

Just like his performance last night and the ones against Somerset and Swindon where he scored 4 then 5 recently, he might be flying at Peterborough but the predictions of Poole fans and others claiming these two are the next turbo twins are laughable !
