  1. No meeting or team writeups on this yet but this double header could be interesting. Swindon have now won 14 meetings in a row and normally I would go for a win against both these teams, but both Somerset and Leicester have had good wins against the odds on friday so we should be a little wary of them. The Somerset team should have more of their own riders and will be a different proposition to the team we thrashed on thursday 57 - 35. The meeting starts at 4pm and has Cycle racing between the two meetings.
  2. I wish they would not keep changing the channels as the bl##dy system I have got is a pain to retune and get rid of all the crap channels so they do not have to be bypassed when looking through the prog list searching to see what is on. Have retuned and got it on channel 95 on one tv and 273 on another but it just states starting in Sept. BT sports preview has disappeared from freeview, and this seems to have taken over the channel, is this part of BT?.
  3. It was 2015 Could do as no one knows when we might have a new stadium to move to.
  4. That may well happen, unless Poole get through to the play offs, as they would be easier to beat. It is a pity that we do not have the KOC with BV meetings before the semis for the Championship, so that we could judge how BV are going.
  5. But if Poole should get into the playoffs they would probably be the best choice for us, a local derby and an easy win.
  6. Any up and coming rider should do this for every track they are due to ride at where there is information available. The track surfaces do change but going to a track blind is not a good idea.
  7. BV should have put the Colts out against Leicester. This result shows how much they rely on Dan Bewley.
  8. Agree Sidney I estimated about that number, which actually was a surprise with two meetings this week and two next. I was expecting about 500.
  9. Do you know of any manager apart from Matt and Rosco who could work that out and do it, anyway it is possible Rye will be trying all out to beat your lot to 4th place.
  10. They can say what they want, and as usual they are talking out of their backside. Stadia can just stop the dog racing and tell speedway sorry you cannot rent the stadium anymore. Then just let it go to rack and ruin and later offer to build houses on it. The Council should have greatly reduced the number of houses Stadia could build until the new stadium was finished and up and running, where as Stadia have exceeded the house number they were allowed to build and have kept coming up with excuses for not starting the new one.
  11. Adam Ellis liked your track when there last week, and at reserve again could make a killing for you.
  12. As I have already said Swindon will decide once they know how our meeting at Rye goes on Sep 1st.
  13. So if it goes t#ts up that would also give us tuesdays as an option as well.
  14. It was a good attendance last night which surprised me since we have two meetings next week and with all the guests riding. The meeting itself was very one sided and it was even obvious that Jason was not even trying to win a race after his first two wins and avoiding aggravating his injuries as the rest of the team was doing so well. While BWD is injured it is a pity we cannot book K Doolan as his average is slightly higher. Kevin scoring 12+1 was a good guest for Somerset. There were a few good races during the meeting and the Robins all put in good scores. It was a pity that E Kennett had a couple of EFs while he was in a good position as both he, A Summers and K Doolan put in decent performances.
  15. Before the plans were seen, when originally they were going to shorten the present track to build across the corner of bend 1. Anyway just be careful of what you post as Poole could be next.
  16. cobblers. It is difficult to tell with the bars etc but I would think about 1500
  17. Swindon will find out when they visit Rye on Sep 1st, if we hammer them again then they are likely to be their semi pick. If they beat Swindon then BV might be a better choice.
  18. Report in Adver re this weeks meetings http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/15491353._We_must_keep_on_the_gas___says_Rossiter/?ref=mrb&lp=19
  19. But most of the people realised that all the hype about the new stadium was bull excretia, after all the previous dates given.
  20. Would prefer Poole in 4th as they will be easier to beat
