Watched this and it just shows how far behind all the other countries we are. The bspa and Rosco or whoever is in charge of GB have got to do something if we are to ever challenge those in Europe. Often out gated and when we did gate lacking in speed, in many races we were last at the end of the first lap if not on the back straight.

Think that if you wish, just remember we were down to 4 riders last night at Rye, even BV lost there and that was with Cookie scoring 19 points, which will not happen again. Even Poole and Wolves lost at Rye as well, so last night means nothing.

You will either have to find a tv or if really desperate get a seat on the Poole coach or on the back of Starmans bike.

Agree, they can grab a drink or go to the loo when the tractor racing is on. Ours do not leave the track on mass for a break, one member goes and gets all the drinks, the same happens with the St Johns staff.

Last night Swindon had r/r for a good rider, neither of our normal reserves and a rider who had had a big off on monday who scored nothing, at a difficult track, so if we can get our reserve positions sorted, write us off at your peril. When BWD returns from injury as a reserve he will have up to 3 new engines, one already delivered so expect a major change from him, and Rosco has a decent reserve lined up to guest for Zach.

Add to that if your home meeting has a rubbish team visiting and there is a good meeting on tv, how many will stay at home and watch the one on tv. Still prefer fixed nights with guests for injuries only.

Freeview has FreeSports listed on two channels 273 for normal signal listed on the tv menu as "coming Soon". 95, which I think is HD, is now live and being shown Anyone interested in Aussie Rugby League is in for a treat this weekend. Would appreciate any info re any schedule dates and timings for speedway as the prog schedule for the HD tv I have got is awful and takes ages to list. Have noted next weeks timings from R & R.

I do not mind if Poole win because if it gets them in 4th place in the playoffs they will be cannon fodder, whereas Rye could be more of a problem.

But this would be problematic for clubs visiting those that want to race on a thurs, as they would have to run without any d/u riders, where they might have changed their night to avoid the clashes and fitted in with the new system.

Happy with that.

Good, cannot see this as TV schedule only goes up to monday

Another great result and a few good races but bloody hell they have got to do something about all the restarts and wasting of time rerunning a restart. They ruined the evening. They have got to have a 1min or 30 second restart limit and stop any team opening the pit gate. All the Robins scored well but it was an expensive night for a few. Arnio did a lot better than I thought he might but unfortunately while way in front of Lingren in heat 11 blew an engine. Another rider to blow an engine was Sam Masters. Unfortunately Wolves were not as good as they have been, some due to riders coming back from injury but you can only race who turns up. The Robins on top of the league and will get first pick in the playoffs. No doubt we will get more bovine excreta from Shovler but that is to be expected.

And your purple Chinos ? Would be happy with M Davey but the guest rulings may screw using him for all the playoff meetings, which is why I am wondering who might replace Zach for one of them. We might have to have the first semi at Swindon to get round that, unless they change the date of the final 2nd leg which is a wed which will allow us to race away first. This of course is if we win the semi.

True, but if you get knocked out in the semi the club misses a big payday for the final, so it is best to pick the easiest team in the semi. The question then is do Swindon pick Poole/Rhy or BV in the semi ?
