  1. The only decent listings I can find is on the tv menu itself, but they only show about one week ahead. What they do not say about the Speedway is what meetings they are showing.
  2. Some of the time the Brits were using the same lines as the Poles but they just lacked speed, the rest just pulled away from them, so the bikes were just not fast enough for the track. At other times they were last out of the gate and others went too wide on the bends. I doubt if an hours practice would have made much difference.
  3. I wonder if many will be going to this with a £25 cost and only half a team from KL.
  4. Where are any Kings Lynn fans on this thread, have they all given up ?
  5. To save on travelling it would be far better to have two consecutive nights if we want weekly speedway, if we are are happy to have a meeting once a fortnight then two non consecutive nights could work.
  6. Is that because the bspa have not planned ahead and have spent all the money. No wonder they can afford having their conference abroad again this year, this lot could not run a p#ss up in a brewery.
  7. But there are no bonus points in the play offs
  8. It appears that they have paid BT or someone the contracted money and BT have picked up the broadcasting rights this year who pay the filming and broadcasting costs, not sure about 2018.
  9. Any solution can be dreamt up but when you have the combined brainpower of the bspa do not expect them to come up with a workable solution.
  10. Do not forget Engerland are on the tv kicking a bag of air about so the showing of a decent sport in pubs is limited.
  11. Correct, then we will know how much of a lead we have for the second leg.
  12. Since the accident was on the M11 with Jason travelling from Stanstead, it would be very unlikely that any other rider in the meeting would also be caught in the traffic hold up. He was held up for 4 hours and if there was no accident he would have been at Swindon at 3.45. Next time you may want to check out the facts.
  13. Same on channel 95 Freeview, so Swedish and Polish Speedway each week will be good. Wed Swedish Speedway 9pm repeat of Tues meeting on Premier Thurs " " repeat 3.30pm Fri Polish Speedway 3.30pm
  14. Probably correct for a 7.30 meeting, but starting at 7.30 they are going to have to rush the heats out bearing in mind all the tv ads etc.
  15. Swindon visit Wolverhampton on mon, wolves are tough at home which should lead to a good meeting. Swindon are using Mitchell Davey and Tom Perry at reserve to cover for our injured reserves, so seeing how Mitchell rides here could be important. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2975 This meeting is being shown on BT. Wolverhampton - Kings Lynn is the second meeting of this double header http://www.wolverhamptonwolves.co/news.php?extend.2806
  16. As long as he come in with an average of about 7 that will be ok.
  17. They were up to a point, but what we are discussing is did the crowds drop off just because Jason was not riding and apart from a couple of meetings I do not think they did. As the winning streak became longer the crowds seemed to increase, now it could have been because Rosco put a call but I would imagine the main reason was it was because we were winning . What could have been the reason for any drop off in fans could have been all the stupid weeks of no meetings, three home premier meetings from May 1st to end of June was a joke
  18. As they are at the track BT could even film it and show it on a later date if they feel the meeting would be too long.
  19. We are used to SS spouting off and the majority just have a good laugh and either ignore or bait him.
  20. Jason was injured and started missing meetings from June 29th, which was the start of the winning streak, he was replaced till July 27th and then injured again on Aug 3rd till 18th. All this was during our winning streak and apart from a couple of meetings the numbers were good.
  21. I thought that it was muted that BV could be used to train up our youngsters, with lots of track time available, have we had any GB training or under 19, under 21 test matches there against other european countries, I do not think so. We should also have more test matches throughout europe if we ever want to be good again. The bspa and clubs will have to finance and make time available for this to happen, or all we will ever be is a training ground for other countries with Championship level racing. Since many youngsters ride here surely the bspa could arrange a series of GB V AUS tests at different tracks, some of the income from which can help finance GB training and tests in europe.
  22. With at least two clubs signing up riders for next year or buying "assets" recently, Poole and Swindon, something must be sorted out.
  23. Did the number of fans drop off when Jason was injured and not riding, no. It was a successful team that pulled in the numbers.
  24. Two decent scores tonight Nick Morris 2,3,3,3,3,2 16 for Berwick Mitchell Davey, who rode at number 7 for us last monday 2,1,2,3,2 10 for Stoke
