  1. As soon as all 4 riders have got to the start, the clock should be set to say 30 seconds if the clock says more than that, to only give the riders 30 seconds of digging etc. If Liam scored that at Wolves, then he seems a good option there.
  2. They should start excluding riders if they waste time at the start, put them on the centre green and the remaining three can pull back a meter or two, no more, then can be back at the tapes within say 30 seconds. Last night was an awful meeting because of all the time wasted. Even more worrying is how many people there left and will not return.
  3. I really hope that those in the bspa ban the opening of pit gates for a tape restart this next agm. This was another meeting ruined by riders moving at the start, the ref continually putting on the red lights, but even worse the returning to the pit gate for pi##ing about. The ref should have contacted the managers and told them that any rider causing a restart will be excluded from the race. Have said before that a tape restart, the number last night probably exceeded the number of races, needs a 1 min time allowance, and as soon as the riders are at the tapes the clock should be switched off to stop all the gardening. Add to all the delays the fact that is was getting colder as the night went on it did look as if many had left before the end of the meeting. Apart from the above the meeting had some good races and it was very unfortunate for Jack Smith to have a horrible injury, which caused a hell of a delay while the one ambulance at the track was used to take him to hospital.
  4. Just some small minded people anyway it is up to the management.
  5. It looks to be bright and sunny at Blunsdon but who knows.
  6. If people finish work at 5.30 then take half an hour to get out of Swindon it would be very tight trying to get to Poole by 7.30, especially with all the speed cameras in place these days.
  7. I am sure if kks, with all his financial experience in delivering papers, contacted the management they would welcome its advice.
  8. Qualified accountant are you, and since when did you have access to the income that Swindon took.
  9. Nah Rosco and the management are rewarding the fans, including any from Poole who turn up.
  10. Following all the bull cr#p from a few Poole posters, Matt might want to take note that if he had done what Swindon are doing for the 2nd leg of the playoff in having entry at £10. Poole might have had a decent crowd if they had done the same. What a load of usual rubbish, Rosco has stated that he has a rider on standby for tonight in case BWD is unable to ride.
  11. If the top riders do not return from Europe I can see the limit being lower than 42, so those clubs signing riders now need to just be a little careful.
  12. That will be good so that he does not do any damage to his injury. At least the track will not shake the seat off his bike.
  13. That is a shame was looking forward to seeing him, a good up and coming rider.
  14. Yet when Swindon was on the tv a few weeks ago we had a couple of thousand at the track.
  15. Not at Poole who had a lower than normal number attending this year.
  16. Do not know, we may have someone on standby just in case.
  17. Belle Vue visit this thursday for the KOC http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2984.1 BV have quite a powerful team and should provide a good test for the table topping Robins, but I would expect the Robins to win this and take a lead up to BV for the second leg on friday 22nd .
  18. Hope Middlo gets well and truly stuffed at Swindon and if BWD is still unable to ride we use Kyle again.
  19. Have just checked and they show drone something at 6.30 after the cricket, so will have to keep checking or watch the cricket instead of the news.
