Well done Jason, World Champion, especially great to get it in Australia. What a day for Jason, World Champ and Aus GP Winner

Which has been the problem too often.

So as thought, if tv money stops and TR does not come up a main speedway sponsor pouring in lots of money, something has got to change, either lower pay for riders or less clubs at the top level.
-
In Poland the riders can earn up to about 10 times what they earn here as many of the top riders get a high signing on fee as well. The top riders earn a hell of a lot more than the figure above.
-
Any prospective purchaser of a club would need to be very suspect about valuing any rider in the purchase price, as any rider may not like the new management and move and ride abroad, or any rider could be involved in a major accident and not able to ride again so becomes worthless.
-
Correct and if the bspa blacklist a rider for not following their "asset" system there is only two things the rider can do. One is just ride abroad and the second is to get clubs to run their own league and who are not members of the bspa. I do agree though with the fact that the lower leagues should receive something for training up a rider.

The things some riders have to go through is something the fans need to be aware of. BWD was having a really tough time, blowing up engines so not scoring points or earning money to get them repaired or new ones, and although being helped by a sponsor and later in the season someone giving him the money to get one or two new engines sometimes the fans can help a young rider who is having a bad spell. Something needs to be set up so that fans that want to can help these riders if they are in the same situation. http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/speedway/15610147.Kiwi_ace_Wilson_Dean_says_he_almost_walked_away_from_Robins/ This report indicates what Adam Ellis was going through in the League Finals http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/speedway/15610066.Ellis_is_facing_surgery_on_injured_wrist/

Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

If the bspa make things so complicated it is no surprise that riders slip through the net or one or two very sharp managers can sign a rider at a good average. -
The post you are commenting on was posted back in 2016, and is not relevant now.

Probably had the same questions from the Adver and others. He might have been up early and had a long day.

Great interview with Rosco by Your Sport part 4 http://www.yoursportswindon.co.uk/video-the-fans-have-been-massively-supportive-this-year-says-rossiter/ Scroll down video page to get parts 1, 2 and 3.

Do not forget, 6.30 at the stadium this thursday. Gates open 6.30 then about 7.15 the team will start the celebration of the winning of the League Title.
-
No they will not.

Nick guesting for Sheffield tonight against Leicester.

Knowing the bspa I agree, which does not always help improving riders
-
Only if he signs for the top Polish League in 2018, his scores have not been that good this year. If he signs for the lower league or not at all he may be available to ride here.

Wolves -v Belle Vue 10th/11th October Ko Cup Final

Plus numerous tape restarts, some justified but many not. -
Do we get points if we predict the correct number of race restarts due to the soppy refs

If Horton went to the bank and stated that certain riders were assets they would laugh at him.
-
Not sure if any multiplier would be needed from a 2015 average, Killers scores abroad have gone down and a lot of the average adjustments were due to all the mucking about with protected reserve riders etc in the last year or two. He might feel that riding back in the UK will help his riding in europe.
-
Averages based on latest gs and using Tobi is 33.81, or PK using his last average comes to 33.54 for those 5. Last one in 2015 was 7.1
-
I hope the riders remember that Rosco gave them a chance to ride this year, and they won a Champions medal, if he wants them next year.

Well if Wolves want to win this they will need to change some of the guests they had tonight -
Either getting away from Lynn or his current crew would probably do him good. He is about the 15th in the list of green sheet averages so if he can improve his average in 2018 that will be good at his age. I wish him well as a young Brit, as we need a few good ones, but as you say better guidance might do him good.
