Add to this how many youngsters who wear a certain riders top, race jacket or cap, and family who have paid for them, will now give up and stop attending so often. They are unlikely to buy rider gear again.
Not a bad guess.
Seriously great news and signings, two riders who did well this year and will improve next.
Two good riders we need in the team.
I wonder if like Poole Swindon are building up to a squad system for the future.
If that is the case then the 4H and 4A rides needed to get an average will be a bit pointless as there will only be a total of 7H and 7A all season.
I suppose they could include all the micky mouse competition meetings
I would prefer if Brits improved and there were enough riders for two over 8 for each team but it will not happen if each year the bspa vote in rules that force good riders up and leave.
In that case bring in an 8+ rider from elsewhere, BV or Wolves might be happy to do a swap of a rider for a year. I just hope Rosco is thinking various options through.
You have to remember that often the bspa do not really think decisions through.
Anders cannot ride PL till his birthday in I think May. You are thinking along the right lines, but would Rosco.
As I posted earlier we only need to win a meeting by a couple of points and that might result in Nicks average dropping below 8.
It is for any rider who rode his nuts off last year and achieved an average of 8+ and now because of a stupid decision has to give up a team place and may not be signed up by another team.
Well in 2018 you are going to see quite a lot of average manipulation rather than flat out team racing as some of next years top riders will not want to be unemployed in 2019.
Also I would be posting this even if it was not a Swindon rider who might lose out.
