He like all speedway riders is self employed, it is up to him to get the best contract he can subject to his ability, skill and scoring power. If he expects to be able to make a living out of the sport he needs to negotiate a better contract, get out and acquire a lot of sponsorship or ride for other teams. If he cannot demand the income he wants then he needs to improve and do something about it. If anyone in any job expects to earn a living they need to be in a position where their skills etc are worth want they want as an income. If they are young and learning they have to accept a lower income to start with.

Australian Championship Dates 2018

Australian Championship round 3 results and overall scores. http://speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.33758 -
Yes, he had wound up the Swindon fans next to the pit entrance for a few meetings so the response was planned and went well. Not sure if it was just Swindon or if he did the same with other clubs fans as well.
-
I am sure that the top average rider has to ride at number 1.
-
Oxford also had a speedway star seller who kept trying to wind up the opposition fans, but at one meeting a few away fans had taken water filled balloons and he got wet and crap pelted out of him with the balloons. Now that helped the away fans in addition to the booing of the Oxford riders.
-
Not really as he could repeat that in 2018 when meeting decent riders.
-
Only if someone or ideally many tell them.
-
No chance, both Jason and Nick will out score him
-
I see your number one rider has been beaten yet again in Australia by a second string rider.
-
If two teams for the same club meant one meeting a week rather than all the gaps Swindon had last season then I think many fans would attend both. The odd week with two meetings might suffer.

Fights between the clubs mascots
-
There is a map on the website he can use to find the track
-
No he is in Australia with his girlfriend having a good break and rest before coming back in the spring and getting ready to show B Kurtz they way round Blunsdon and Poole speedway tracks
-
He went out there for a holiday and the odd fun speedway meeting
-
Well that is up to the rider to accept the clauses and sign it or get the contract changed if he is a top rider and able to. If the team will not alter the contract then it is up to the rider to accept or decline the position. Exactly the same would apply in the UK.

I bet young Holder is glad he is not in the same team this year.

I did not see your post until it was too late but well done.

There were some meetings when JD was out injured and he did ok. Also it has to be noted that JD never team rode with anyone in the team so Nick looked after himself.

The 2017 season was the worst yet for the many fans, the number of restarts from the tapes and the riders stopping at the pit gates to muck about with the bike before going back to the start. Cutting the two mins to a one min time would help and stop much gardening etc. They should reduce the delays between races, and at certain clubs, the amount of tractor racing and get on with the meetings, especially when it is cold. The main meeting should take no more than 90 mins, unless there are many accidents or air fence issues and fans can then either go or stay on for a second half of either practice or a 4 or 6 heat junior type event.

You hope !

The top Aussies are not even in these champs, in the GP J Doyle and C Holder had their equipment shipped out and back. No doubt some of the other riders would have had the same offer available, I have no idea if they took up that option or kept their kit out in Australia for this competition. -
I see a degree in English is required, that will be difficult to find in Norfolk and is definitely an essential requirement for Speedway.

So to get your team news link on to Polish team web sites.

Only if people actually take the message in and do something about it. It is like a lot of adverts on social media and the tv , if recorded from the tv most people fast forward through the ads and ignore them, if on other social media people only take notice if they are interested in the product advertised. Adverts pop up on this forum but I ignore 99.9% of them, the same as tweets from posters about football, there I ignore 100% of those. Others might read all the adverts but many do not.
-
But how many of those that have shared it have actually read and taken any notice of any message if they have no interest in speedway. If someone posts a message about knitting do you read and start looking into it ?
