Agree providing the visiting club has to agree to the fixture as they may have riders riding elsewhere. ie if a club wanted to race on a fri against Swindon where we have three riders ring at Lakeside that date Swindon can refuse the meeting date.

Agreed they improved it then cocked it up with only 1 rider over 8 allowed and a last min change from thurs to wed.

After initially stating that the meeting was cancelled, maybe someone had a word and told them to change the release.

Swindon has the majority of its future meetings this season on a monday or wednesday rather than running most meetings so far this year on a thursday, so it will be interesting to see what effect it has on the numbers attending. Hopefully very little but who knows.

Agree but if the visiting team is happy to ride on a Saturday, let them carry on.

Agree and the league could be just as good and a feeder for European leagues for any rider that wants to join them but GB would have to come first. Cut the costs and the entry prices and the fans may come back. The biggest issue is how do you stop the likes of the bspa continually screwing the sport up.

Are there many fans at the track ?

With this meeting being on tv and prices not reduced to £10 how many will actually be there?. Have just looked at pre booking tickets, with a rip off booking fee to get a ticket does anybody buy them this way, as it is not as if their meetings are a sell out.

Somerset are not riding too well at the moment but could still beat Poole on the night or if they do not manage that they will win overall.

They do not have to race on thursdays it is just that it was their race night. Most of the meetings for the rest of the season are on a monday and wednesday. It will be interesting to see what the fan numbers are like for the mondays and wednesdays, more fans may pick and choose which meetings they attend. I see dick head is now talking to one of his other multi names on the same thread.

And the Poole manager would not have complained if it happened to Poole and they got 1 point instead of 3. Would have thought that a trainee ref would have a proper ref with him to steer him along with the rules etc if a mistake is made.

I have no idea why reading racer posts a rider line up before it is confirmed when it is obvious it is wrong.
