It seems some would like Hans, Peter and Nick others Troy, Peter and Nick. We have good riders in Simon and Jason possibly being available and then Zengi and Nicolai may be an option, but that is four riders to fit in to three places. Lastly a 3 or 4 point number 7. A few choices will have to wait until the management see who is able, or wants, to ride for Swindon and who wants to ride in the PL as well as EL. Peterborough may want Hans or Troy, Poole may want Jason or even buy Nick from Glasgow. Zengi may not want to ride in the uk. Sorting out a team under 42.5 and with the potential of that we had this year must be difficult if you have to wait for decisions from other clubs.

You could have Seb as D/U in place of Klindt, which would be 37.08 for first 6 listed leaving 5.42 for last rider
-
In trying to make sense of the d/u we only have one rider per position so we can only have three riders that ride in both leagues and then use a PL guest in the event of one of them not being available. Odin, 10 clubs 2 each = 20 riders, but this top 20 riders share out is not on the BSPA website, so not sure of the rules relating to it.

Supporters question and answer meeting announced on Swindon Speedway web site. Wed 21st at the Moonrakers Pub Crossways Suite starts 7.45 Gary, Rosco, Hans, Peter, Simon and Troy will be there. Web site details should be read.
-
Agree fully with you.
-
If they drop to 40 we might as well forget about the start of season Euro competition, or even go PL..
-
If no discounts for British riders the av is higher than 42.5. You could d/u Nick and Simon which leaves about 4
-
Yes I could read that, thanks
-
It used to happen in the pubs run by Rosco and Malc, the same individuals who were in the know ( ha ha ) each off season, spouting team signings, even though they had been wrong time and time again.

Good post Hagon, any chance you can change the size of your characters, it saves me reaching for a magnifying glass, thanks.

I am taking bets on how long before the next one.

Another article in the Adver today about Swindon interested in Tobiasz Musielak as a possible option for 2013, but will have to see what the AGM decides on foreign riders av. There is also an article about Peter Kildemand wanting to come back.
-
The end of November could be a busy time.
-
Possibly not, providing he gets the rides and experience he wants, or if the rules allow he may want all three.
-
There may be another PL option rather than Somerset for Nick !!!
-
Do you mean THE 2012 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS Steve?.
-
Not sure about a done deal yet Buzz, but Rosco is trying to confirm a signature asap.
-
With rumors about the assessed average for foreign riders possibly being raised at the AGM, will have to see if 4 will be the starting average.
-
ER just google his name and look at the utube videos. Also web site "Speedway Results" shows what he has done recently. Looks quite good.

Rosco states that agreeing a deal with Peter Kildemand to return in 2013 is one of the Robins priorities. Full report on Robins website. Magic won the last World under 21 meeting in Argentina with an unbeaten max but ended up second in the series by one point to MJJ. MBJ ended up 3rd overall.

In the same paper today there is a good article from Simon Stead, who wants to ride for Swindon and if the rules allow wishes to d/u, something which will help him. Having sorted out the bike and engine problems, as seen at the playoffs, I would welcome him back.

It did seem strange that sky showed the same two teams twice when they could have shown other teams. In 2011 the PL meetings shown were better than most of the EL meetings, and I had hoped that more PL would be shown this year. When does the current arrangement for tv rights end, maybe the PL should try and get its public display rights separate to the EL, unless the money it receives from the EL deal is more than it could raise itself. Or is it the case that the powers that be cannot split the rights up, which seems a bit short sighted. There should be a separate agreement for the PL even if it is with the same broadcasting organisation.
