Looks like a good signing for you.
-
Next year you could end up 5th rather than 6th with all the rescuing he did.
-
Would agree Batch will need to continue his form at the end of this season from the first meeting next year.
-
Thanks Nick, it could be that this fact of now having to be registered/owned/which then becomes an "asset" of a club/promoter may be causing more problems than it may have solved, as Peterborough is finding out. A rider is bought and after one season does not want to ride for that club, then can leave either for another club in the uk, in which case a fee is to be paid, or abroad or gives up speedway and the club gets nothing. Accumulating all these riders is a decision that Peterborough has made and it may have paid off, but I do not see how they can insist that KL have to buy him.
-
I am not wanting to go totally off track but can a rider not be any clubs "asset" and negotiate his own contract for a specific period of time, or do the BSPA insist that a rider has to be or becomes an "asset" of his first club either at the outset or when having ridden a specific number of meetings.
-
Well that has stuffed my alternative hope if Hans and Troy not available. I wish him good luck in whatever he decides to do in the future.
-
We have 16.32 available. It depends on the average of the other list of riders, Crump may be below 11.
-
If Hans and Batch are not available, would love to see Zagar but has he not mucked Swindon about too much. The other I would like is Zengi but do not know of availability and foreign race nights. If Crump does not ride in Poland he may be re thinking his comment about riding in the UK, but I doubt he needs the money, he could probably afford to have a couple of years off. So Zagar and Zengi or Crump or some other rider on the second list of top riders and Jason Doyle, if they are prepared to take the risk of two d/u riders at the same club.
-
May be your team should stay away from some of the Extraleague riders so loved by the Peterborough xxxxx, insert your own word.
-
Do not understand what you are on about, we already have 5 riders and with Hans and Troy that makes 7. Total av of 42.3. You beat me to that steve0. Others are posting about Eddie doubling up, there are not many PL places left and we have 2 d/u riders already, not sure if 3 is good.
-
But Jason rides for the same PL team as Nick, add to that the fact that Somerset race on a friday and more EL clubs also have a race night of friday it would have been too much of a gamble having to replace two possible d/u riders. Especially to Swindon and Kings Lynn.
-
Swindon sign E Kennett from Coventry for next year. Should improve his average.
-
I have never been a fan of Eddie but Rosco proved he was right in his rider selection in 2012. People questioned the inclusion of Troy but he came good. Rosco feels he can get the best out of Eddie so will hope that Eddie ups his scoring and enjoys his time with the team. If he does the same with Eddie, who has has a bad year, it will make the middle order strong, and if we get Hans and Troy again 2013 will be another great year, especially when we beat that lot from Dorset. The meetings against KIngs Lynn should also be interesting.
-
That is a pity that the shop fell through, with the Speedway, Football and Ice hockey merchandise available before Christmas it would have also raised the profile of the clubs to people who may never attended some of them.
-
They will be valid till Sept 2013, and then hopefully we will only have to change the 2012 to 2013.
-
Who has claimed he is a superstar, he has won the State Championship, it is not his fault if the level of opposition is not high.
-
Shane Parker, Dakota North, J. Sedgeman were 2nd,3rd and 4th.. Will see how he gets on in any National Chanpionship.
-
Today Troy won the South Australian Championship, all details on updates.
-
Yes you can buy a Swindon 2012 Champions outfit for Steve.
-
You should have seen the pictures where the same model was showing off the new cheer leaders outfits, it was decided that because children use the website they have to be applied for and will be delivered in a plain brown envelope.
-
Thankyou for the d/u clarification Midland Robin.
-
Brilliant Steve0. Do not think the red hoodie suits the model and the last one could have had the title "Hello Sailor"
-
Midland Robin could you also tell us the following. If a d/u rider is not available can a club use any PL rider even if he is a d/u rider with another EL club, or has it got to be a PL rider with no d/u agreement.
-
Have been looking at E Kennetts results in 2012. He started the year doing reasonably ok but his scores in the latter part of the season tailed off, the same as a few other Coventry riders. One thing that does stand out though is he scored well when riding in individual meetings. I wonder if there was a Coventry feel bad factor and can Rosco get him to improve his scores. Zengi is an exciting rider to watch and has the ability to beat many at Swindon and big away tracks, but does not always show it.. Is there a possibility he will ride well one week and not the next. Magic is similar to Zengi, again he has the ability but does not always show it. I am beginning to agree with Hagon and ER and think Eddie could be the better option of the three above.

There seem to be quite a few questions about who can double up and who can replace a d/u rider, which fans have not been told about yet. We will have to wait until the rules and regs are published.
