  1. If KB is nailed then that could reduce the value of Hans for 2013.
  2. As Peterborough can only use one of KB, HA and Troy two of those will be available so why not ask to speak to all three, a decision can then be made when Peterborough decide what they are doing..
  3. A fixed term contract would be a good way to go. I agree with the second para re work permit, but no other member club at the moment can agree to Peterboroughs terms to sign him.
  4. I think you will find that Troy needs a work permit signed by the BSPA to work in the uk, if no work permit he cannot ride here, if he has not been signed by a club it is unlikely he would get such a permit. Hans is a different case as he does not need a work permit.
  5. I do not know if I have missed it somewhere but where had it been stated that there is no valid contract between the two?Surely Batch has a contract with Peterborough, not the BSPA, which he would have agreed to when he signed for them.
  6. I am glad you pointed that out as some at Peterborough want Swindon to pay more than they have offered.
  7. You may well be right to some degree, I would not be surprised to see a smaller EL
  8. If you read the Peterborough press release it states that According to the BSPA rules, a rider reverts to his parent club at the end of a loan agreement therefore Neils having been on loan at KL for two seasons is irrelevant. Therefore a Parent club can ask for a purchase or loan, whichever it decides after any period, even for the first year, and from what they state the third year comments from Coventry appear to be just the result of a previous decision made by the BSPA where the parent club and the club wishing to use the rider could not agree on if it should be a loan or purchase. What could happen here is that Swindon goes for two other riders and Hans, Batch and Peterborough all lose out financially if either Peterborough or the arbitration panel make a decision that Swindon are not prepared to run with and Swindon lose out on two riders that want to ride for them. Post from Hagon just seen while writing this one, and I agree with him unless Peterborough are realistic in their requests and make a decision soon..
  9. Agree with that. Then that gives a bit of flexibility if the rules are not changed as it is likely that Peter will be in the top twenty riders.
  10. My daughter and a few of her work colleagues have also got rid of Sky after the last price increase, it is not just Speedway fans with the possibility of no GPs.
  11. I am sure any fans from anywhere would be welcome, even Mr Shovler if he wishes to attend.
  12. Robins fans Sun 30th 7pm Wheatsheaf Ermin St Stratton. Pop along, have a drink and celebrate 2012.
  13. You missed out the other names she/he/it is also using
  14. More like Des O'connor. :D The comment about Swindon signing others was exactly my point earlier Hagon.
  15. I lived in North Wootton, just north of the Red cat Pub for a while, and in the winter when there was a north wind we were first in line for weather from the arctic. The track next to the sugar beet plant was not a lot warmer at times. At Swindon it is bad when the wind gets up, because of being on top of a hill and no protection from any surrounding buildings.
  16. Says a fan of the cleaner than clean club, what a joke from a wind up merchant
  17. As riders are able to ride for more than one club they hire their services to a club and treated as self employed, some of the riders may have set themselves up as a Company.
  18. What would be more worrying for the riders is if all the other EL clubs sign up two riders from the BSPA lists of top riders before Peterborough allow the riders to sign for another club.
  19. Following comments from NKI, and Hans, now Troy is getting fed up with what is happening, or not happening.
  20. If he decides not to ride in the uk the transfer value is zero, and Peterborough, KL, NKI and the fans lose out,
  21. Linback, A J, N Pedersen to name just three, there are more any of which may decide to want to ride in the uk. I did qualify my post with unlikely but possible.
  22. But not, if while waiting for a decision, all the other clubs sign up other top riders. Unlikely but possible.
  23. Swindon fans do you want an evening out, a group of fans are meeting at The Wheatsheaf, Ermin St at 7pm on Sunday Dec 30th. Have a chat with friends, make new ones and celebrate the fantastic year we have had. Please pm if likely to attend so the pub has an idea of numbers, but not essential. Any Poole supporters welcome.
