  1. Two good riders signed up for Bob Kilby Meeting on March 14th, Troy Batchelor and Nicki Pedersen.
  2. I think you are correct re your weekly magazine type programme and if people like what they see they may be tempted to go to watch their local teams. One of the problems with televised meetings is that if the weather forecast is iffy people will stay at home and watch it.
  3. I have just looked at the Eurosport website and it claims to be able to supply Eurosport and Eurosport2 progs from 2.99 per month. Has anyone taken up this offer, as I do not get Eurosport on the TV, and what minimun computer configuration or software does one need. I have watched a few of Speedway meetings on my computer, some are ok but many have breaks and delays ( i think due to buffering ) which I am not sure if it is the internet speed I have. Thanks for any info, a pm would suffice if best.
  4. That is good, but will the approval be given before or after the need for the riders to purchase the heat shield.
  5. Glad this has been sorted, welcome back Hans a good number 1 for Swindon.
  6. Rosco has put on twitter that the meeting at Poole on March 29th will now start at 12, which allows Nick to ride for Swindon before going off to Somerset in the evening.
  7. Am waiting to see the Sky schedule as none of the matches reported to be on it now seem to be happening. As you say March 25 at Lakeside is not in the fixtures and April 4 had Swindon-KL where we are now racing against Lakeside.
  8. Have been looking at the schedule of meetings and at the moment there are a number of meetings where Nick will not be available due to Somerset riding. The first is the Elite Shield at Poole on 29 March where both Somerset and Scunthorpe are riding, but not sure if the times of the meetings clash.
  9. em1500uk I also remember seeing scheduled Sky meeting but now Swindon is at home to Lakeside that day, which is a pity as I was looking forward to see Kings Lynn at Swindon on that day.
  10. It says that due to the success of last years series, which saw good crowd levels and superb racing, every staging track remains the same.No mention is made of a bidding exercise for 2013.
  11. Not according to the BSPA press release shown on the BSPA website.
  12. Swindon has been announced as the venue for the ELRC 2013 again. This has been scheduled for Saturday October 12th. This goes to show what a good track Swindon has as many of the top riders like riding there, and the 2012 meeting saw some excellent racing.
  13. I see the mods have sorted out the thread title and stopped the continual changes, many thanks
  14. But do not forget they also have Seb Alden, who went well for us at the end of 2012.
  15. 21+ do not come into the equation, which is how we have signed PK who was just outside the top twenty, in addition to two, hopefully, of the top twenty.
  16. Rhy House used to be awful but I see it is being revamped.
  17. Will it be next to the statue for Matt Ford ?
  18. Swindon on sky twice Mon March 25th at Lakeside Thurs Apr 4th at home against Kings Lynn, so Simon to return to the Abbey early, and with four of the KL riders having ridden for Swindon this should be a very good meeting.
  19. Does it not still leave a loan fee only deal?
