They plus others know a further weakening of the league is a likely outcome of the agm, so how many more fans will either pick and choose which meetings they go to or give up altogether. So the cycle could continue or will more fans go to a much bigger league to see a larger variety of teams rather than the same 7 or 8 all year.
-
If there is no tv deal paying decent money I cannot see any club moving up because of the cost of running a club. I only see a combined league with most of the Championship clubs and the Premier clubs in one big league with a lower team average, or even going to 6 rider teams to cut costs. Just look at all the riders who have dropped their averages below 8 points in the last couple of months.

Agree with what you state but it is the bspa that most years weaken the top league by often reducing the team average limit or as last year restrict each team to one rider over 8 points etc after going for fixed nights to encourage more top riders from abroad back into the league. Well that went very well didn't it. So the top clubs, who often seem to not treat clubs coming up from the lower league fairly, then wonder why some do not want to join the top league or work with them. The top league is now 7 teams and who knows what is going to be proposed for 2019, that is if it has been properly thought through or if they are going to make the same mistakes as they have in the past. I wonder if this is part of the reason why Matt wants to sell the club and get out. I also understand that at least one other owner wants to get sell up and is open to offers.

And according to SportoweFakty is looking good so far. -
So as stated by some the value is not much

Have seen a few of the riders listed on the Wolves website.

As most clubs seem to be making a loss and the number of fans going to meetings is dropping the value of any club is going down year on year. If there are less clubs racing and a lower standard of racing due to most clubs wanting to cut costs and many of the top riders only riding abroad the value of any club is going down. So to include any present fan income or sponsorship income is very dangerous and only anyone with very deep pockets or wanting to spend profits from elsewhere would put a high value on any club as there are too many unknowns.

The value of the fixed assets, a calculation of X years profits and goodwill less any liabilities. Goodwill can include anything but is only what the buyer is prepared to pay for.
-
Bearing in mind that if a certain promotor came in most of the riders would not ride for him and go to another club or abroad.
-
That is probably what they paid for them, it then depends what side of the balance sheet they are on.

A tractor and Starman

No accountant or bank would value any rider past their present contract as they can then walk away and not ride for the club so some of these valuations are pie in the sky. Also I wonder if any club actually has life or injury insurance on any rider so any investment is covered. I bet their tractors are insured.

Lambert to Robins, Doyle to Stars

I would not believe anything Pearson says, even during the racing he has the wrong rider in the lead. Sometimes the rider he mentions is not even in the race. -

Chris Harris was well worth his position in the team. -
Another wind up post, as that amount for a couple of tractors and a bit of shale is a lot. Every other item in the club can just walk away so is of no value.

Middlo might be but looking at the Poole track on the tv on monday much of the surface was like the M3, so will the Poole riders like a bit of shale or not.. -

A deep loose surface of shale may suit the Kings Lynn riders, the only trouble with that is that Chris Harris will like that as well. -

Usually a far better and less congested route rather than the M25, I used to cut across from A34 to Bedford and the A1. M11 and M25 back after the meeting at 10pm might be ok, also less speed cameras.
