  1. More importantly have they claimed the £100,000 paid to each club
  2. Brilliant performance tonight. I am sure it will not be the only win this year. What a reception he will get and deserve at Cardiff.
  3. "Watch Speedway on Sky" site was updated yesterday, they removed the Sunday KL Swindon and added the Berwick meeting, but this system was down so could not post earlier.
  4. Dryml - £30 less Franc - £50 less kasprzak - £30 more Sayfutdinov - £30 more
  5. Wonder if the authorities would accept a few thousand bricks.
  6. Will be interesting seeing Jason riding for the opposition.
  7. Do not know if I have missed an announcement but the meeting that was on the Sky schedule ( Watch Live Speedway ) for Tues May 21st at Berwick has now disappeared and the next meeting shown is the wrong one at Kings Lynn listed for Sunday May 26th which is not happening. I am glad that they are showing Speedway but how difficult is it to have the correct schedule listed.
  8. Thursdays getting boring with all the rubbish on the tele v w, just keeping interested by following updates and listening to the meetings on the radio.
  9. The first post on this thread mentioned top 5 from each semi, hence my post on Kyle's score, but if only 4 he may not make it.
  10. This afternoon Kacper was in the World Under 21 semi at Rawicz, and although he was the meeting reserve he won all the races he was in. He got 9 from 3 rides where as the winner, P Dudek got 11 from 4, had Kacper had 4 rides he could have been first in this meeting. The meeting was abandoned but he finished 4th so will continue in the competition. It is good that he has qualified but how many meetings may he miss for Swindon.
  11. Even test matches returning would help, for the younger riders, Under 21, Under 25.
  12. Rosco stated in the Adver that riders could already have commitments elsewhere, or that date may not be acceptable to Belle Vue.
  13. If C Harris does not earn the right in the British Final all the Brits attending Cardiff need to take Woofy banners. I am sure the majority of Brits can show their feelings during the meeting.
  14. Not on Swindon's curry island, but have spent time in different parts of the world, when you often find out that many British versions of foreign food taste nothing like the original. I agree that some curries have been invented, as you say, in the uk, and in certain restaurants are excellent. One of the best curries I have had in the uk was in Wolverhampton. Even something like pizza in Britain is rarely like those you get in Italy. Anyway back to Eurosport. Like others on here I am glad that it is being shown, especially with the young riders that are in it this year, who are not afraid to mix it with the established riders.
  15. With KKS etc, the crowd has now increased with her new mate Klindt racing fan club.
  16. Good job they have got welsh versions of the riders names, heat number and points scored, or they would be completely buggered.
  17. Why can they not do what they did last year and have all the meetings being shown on one website which is updated every month. The one they had last year still shows schedule for March and the new one shows next meeting as Berwick as mentioned above. I only new about them showing the British Final as they mentioned it at the end of the last couple of meetings shown.
  18. Will give him some practice for July 24th. No further news on Nick yet, hope injury is not too bad. Jason Doyle scored 12 from 6 rides for Kings Lynn at Wolves.
  19. Agreed BV have a good line up and a couple of very good reserves
  20. Report from Workington where Nick Morris is racing for Berwick. Accident in heat one and Nick and Tero Arnio off to hospital. Speedway updates reports shoulder injury. No further info at this time.
  21. No, nothing on this week and no decent May schedule on Sky website. I think the next meeting is the British Final on 13th.
  22. Not correctCurry was first developed in Mesopotamia. Curry powder which are a blend of spices originated in Southern India and later the spices were bought back to England. Curry became popular with the British forces when they were part of the Empire. I accept that many variations of curry have been developed in the uk, the origin is not so it is questionable that it is English..
  23. flagrag could you please put exact website details on here, or pm me, as the main site Speedway Live Dates still show March dates, and Speedway Watch Live show from May 21st, thanks. The Scunthorpe meeting was good and I hope they show more PL meetings. Agree that Tai came over well. Rosco will have to learn not to turn sideways when on tv.
