Could not agree more, I had the points required by the top riders after each round and was crossing them off as they could not overtake Tai with the points available. I do not know where the figures the commentators were using came from, but they just confused people. Hell of a shame about the accident for both Tai and Gollob, but what a brilliant performance by NKI. There were a couple of starts he had that I am sure would have caused a restart in the EL. Thoughts are with both injured riders and that Tai's op goes well and he is able to ride in the last GP. .

Ashley Birks injured by bike tonight in Westonapolis at Plymouth. Updates comments are that another rider went down and his bike hit Ashley. Ashley was stretchered off to ambulance and has withdrawn from the meeting. I hope he is not too badly injured .

None of those three will want to ride in the PL.

Jason went to Birmingham because with Nick Morris riding at Swindon we did not want two d/u riders from Somerset. He is likely to be back at Swindon next year though.

Get rid of the 2 min clock at the start line. I have spoken to a few referees and most are convinced the riders use the time having arrived at the start to carry out gardening etc right up to the time limit. If allowed another one, on a restart due to tape infringement where all four are allowed back, the pit gates remain shut and the riders should go straight back to the start.

Have looked on the voting map, very interesting but not that accurate if it shows all the posts. I cannot believe there are none from Poole. It does show one from Sherbourne and one from Peterborough, one can have a good guess who they are.

Lets just see what happens over the two legs Poole Quay 7, hopefully no injuries and two good meetings.

The air fence at Swindon seems to work well as it is attached to a 6ft high mesh fence, both of which give a bit when hit. You do not see riders rebounding across the track.

Not much point in going to Wimborne Road if the Robins beat the Pirates.
