Often the ref does not put the two mins warning on the instant there is a tape offence. Also just because there is a two min warning the ref can start the race at any time providing all four riders are at the start line, it does not have to be two mins, which would speed up the meeting. A ref should have a one min warning, or less, for a restart following a tape offence.

May well have been, in which case my error.

Somerset v King's Lynn KO Cup final 1st leg 17/10/18
A ORLOV replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well just go back and edit it down to a sensible length. Then we can spend more of the thread reading posts from poole posters. -
Very unlikely that they will return, many last year and this have mentioned that they are fed up with pointless delays and meetings taking too long to run, especially early and late in the season when the weather is not good. 2 hours 15 minutes is not as bad as some meetings but when it is cold people want the meeting run as quickly as possible. If the club wants people to stay then they should put on a second half so that those that want to can leave after the main meeting. This season has been better than last year at Swindon where most meetings are over within 2 hours where last year they dragged on. I really would like the agm to ban the opening of the pit gates after a false start and the riders should go straight back to the start unless a rider is being replaced or being put back 15 mtrs. It is the delays between races and the time wasting at the start that need looking into and reducing.

I even think his bike trailer was green and white as well

Steve Gresham at Swindon had those all down his arms. The last time he visited Swindon for a testimonial he even had rabbit ears stuck on his helmet, that was funny.

It was easier to pick out individual away riders when they had their own leathers.

Then the likely outcome would be one combined league at a lower level without any of the top riders as many clubs lost money this year -

But the mon and thurs was decided on last year but we changed to mon and wed, which caused problems Or if they want to ride on a thurs the top league has priority with DU riders -

OK but it seems to be that fixed race nights in UK is not working and is causing some clubs a drop in attendance and financial problems, so do not know where GB goes from here unless the top level drops and GB becomes a feeder for the likes of Poland, Sweden and Denmark and the GP series. -

So is he limited in how many leagues he can ride in, re the "rule" the Poles came up with last year. -
Only if the rider wants to ride in the UK, but if they decide to only ride abroad, if they become injured and cannot ride, if they are banned from riding in the UK, if the rider decides to have a break from racing I am correct. Apart from that loan fees do not seem to be very high for most riders so they are not worth considering and it is unlikely that any bank would class them as an asset . No business man would agree to pay a loan fee for a rider for a season without a claw back clause in the event of the rider either getting injured and not able to ride, the rider deciding after a few weeks that he does not want to ride for that club.

No idea what he would expect but as with Matt at Poole, not a lot, we do not even have our own tractor.

If they have an agreement with Stadia to continue at the stadium then yes.

Which confirms that SS method of valuation of Poole was complete pie in the sky.
