Nick Morris released by Somerset because of average of Brady Kurtz changing from 3 to 5. Other clubs available to Nick are Scunthorpe and Peterborough. He is lucky this change was not done later when there could have been no spaces available.

Good news that they are keeping speedway at Peterborough and so far they have signed up good riders.

Ashley has not yet got a PL team and there are not too many teams left who have space. If he does join a PL team, meeting clashes or two d/u riders in the same PL team would cause a problem. Until the saga at Somerset is sorted out and it is confirmed where Nick is riding in the PL I doubt a decision about Ashley can be made. If the above is all sorted out and Ashley can d/u he is an option worth taking.

It was done this way after it came to light that Matt tried to get Greg Hancocks average re assessed so that he could ride in the NL and be available as a reserve for Poole.

Peterborough rode on a friday this year but there is talk they may change race night. This whole saga cannot be good for Nick as he really likes Somerset, and riding with Jason.

It is a new rider so not Ulamek, also there could be issues with Ashley if Nick should ride for Scunthorpe.

As well as for the Rebels this action may also have repercussions for Nick Morris, Swindon and others. Ashley Birks if ok may be back at Scunthorpe, which makes it awkward for both him and Nick to du at Swindon if both are at that club. It is not known that Peterborough will be in the PL, if they do join, meeting clashes with Swindon could rule him out of Peterborough. This could leave Nick without a PL team, screw up Ashley riding in the EL, muck up Swindons team plans, the whole thing is a mess.

The list of Polish team riders dated 16.12 does not have him listed.

Sorry Hans, as not on PL club list did not think of them and like many others hope that they do run in 2014, in fact Panthers could be a better option.
