http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/10919382.Robins_react_to_alleged_approach_for_Morris/?ref=var_0 A statement from Swindon Speedway, the same statement is on the Swindon website

Was that because the club supplied Bryn with fags to drag the call out. Only joking Bryn

Wimbledon, although I live in Swindon I used to arrange business trips to that area of London on race nights, especially when Swindon were there. Reading and Oxford because of the brilliant local rivalry, especially the three team tournaments.
-
I would be very disappointed if Nick did not ride for Swindon, but if the above is happening it comes as no surprise.

Do you mean Seb Alden ? -
Does not KKS claim to be in contact with all managers and certain riders on a regular basis.

Fairly happy about Troy and Peter and Nick, will have to see if Simon and Nicolai get back to what they are capable of. Will also wait till reserves have had a few meetings to see how the new race format works out, and how they cope.

And a cross you have to bare

No Nick wants and is worthy of a PL season, he could increase his points money.
-
Was surprised not to see him in the Aus Champ qualifying meeting last fri, will keep an eye out to see if he is in the under 21 meeting on Jan 25th. He did do ok in The Jason Crump Invitational the other week. Speedwayresults.com list his recent Aus meetings and scores

There are a couple of teams where that could happen when riding away if the above race format is close to the one for this year. The more I look at it the more I revert to my first thoughts, the same as a few others, that they should only be bringing in one Brit reserve from the lower leagues, unless they want two. They could have then gone for two in a couple of years time.

Apparently he was pushed off line by Jason who gated last in the final and powered past Troy nearly knocking him over, Troy not happy about it.

I thought finding a League sponsor was mentioned years ago by Go Speed, but apart from Sky nothing happened. Maybe if Sky are getting the Speedway for just the cost of production and transmission Go Speed will have to find a sponsor otherwise TR may not be able to replace his car for this years model.

Twitter comments are that his transport broke down over Christmas. Hell of a shame if that was the case as he should have qualified. -

You are correct Ned, what a pity, any reason known why. -
Next year is now this year Matt, which makes your comment more of a concern.

I would like to see all or most clubs become financially stable. This scheme for Brit reserves in the EL to succeed and be extended to the PL. It may need a bit of fine tuning though. Less injuries to riders. The main body, presumably the BSPA, increase training for Brit riders paid out of TV or Sponsor income. A fairer share out to all clubs in all leagues of any TV or League Sponsor income, that is providing Go Speed get any. Closer meeting scores and exciting racing. And as mentioned by Great Central, get rid of these bl##dy awful silencers.

This is usually the case but some have been known to be overturned. The case of moving to an area which already has noise etc should be common sense, but how often is common sense ignored and the idiot who moves next to a noisy activity is able to get it resticted, ie get the noise from church bells restricted.

Will be up early friday to see if it is on speedway updates and hoping Nick Morris qualifies for Sat. -
Agree Hagon, lets concentrate on the Robins and get behind the team. Happy New Year to all Robins and Speedway supporters. Nick Morris is riding on Jan 3rd in a meeting to try to qualify for the 2014 Aus Championship which start on Jan 4th, where if he gets through he be in a line up with Troy and Jason.
