  1. I know Jason should have been aware of the visa situation but with Jason continually riding for Somerset surely they should have been on top of the visa issue.
  2. He may be being held in reserve or he spoke to MJJ and did not want to be stalked like he was.
  3. No and the racing on Eurosport is better as well
  4. Rosco is on Bikerfm tonight prog starts at 8pm.
  5. We wait to find out, a lot depends on which PL club he gets a place at and if his transfer request is granted, or if he decides to go elsewhere anyway. If Jason Doyle cannot get a visa there is a possibility he may be asked to ride back at Somerset in which case he is likely to be at Swindon. Will follow Nick riding the Aus under 21 Championships on Saturday, heat details will be on Speedway Updates Sat morning. A famous Swindon rider Leigh Adams son Declyn Adams also rides on Sat in the under 16 250cc meeting at the same venue. Last weekend he came third in an individual meeting and first in a pairs meeting.
  6. Many sports persons take part in other sports in their off season and because of the type of people some of them are they often push to the limit and will take risks. F1 drivers have gone mountain biking and injured themselves. Others have gone go karting and had an accident. Speedway riders have a life away from Speedway and injuries and accidents can happen, jet skiing, off road biking or even in non sporting activities like visiting the pub.
  7. Especially when we sent some of their forefathers to Australia in the first place.
  8. I hope it is not the rider I have been following, a rider that Swindon should have signed. Happy birthday for May, did you get a discounted season ticket as you become one of group able to get a concession.
  9. It should be as previous, the riders riding in the EL in 2014 who are the team number 1 and the next 6 riders with the highest average. Being run earlier in the year should mean that riders are available.
  10. Because Swindon beat Poole last year and are the Holders.
  11. An article in the adver states that the Elite Shield will be run on a date to be announced. This is good news as any meeting against Poole is well worth watching.
  12. Announcement in the adver today the Elite Shield will be run on a date to be announced.
  13. Could anyone from Australia post any results as I cannot find any results on the Meeting, even on the Pinjar Park website. Thanks
  14. It is a pity it is not being run, two clubs reasonably close to each other and both meetings getting good crowds. Wed night at Poole and the next night at Swindon.
  15. I would think Somerset as they signed him first.
  16. I like the meeting schedule, especially home and away against Poole on fri April 18th, but note the Swindon schedule appears to be wrong. According to the bspa and Poole sites the meeting at Poole is first with the meeting at Swindon in the evening.
  17. Great to have these two meetings on the friday, and Swindon v Poole are always good to watch, but how many fans will travel to Blunsdon after getting beaten in the morning.
  18. 2014 fixtures in adver and on bspa website 9 am tomorrow.
  19. You probably need to go to that site after 9am tomorrow.
  20. Totally agree, have just posted about squad meeting, the same as the Danes do, and team gb meetings before the World Cup on another thread.
  21. Denmark have had a week of team building and racing at Kings Lynn for the last couple of years, this seems to have helped them with their recent performances in the World Cup, I wonder if Rosco has any ideas like this, either a couple of days with all the prospective riders, or a couple of meetings with team gb v someone. The bspa would have to come up with some finance and riders would have to be available.
  22. Will any rider pick 555 and contact the makers of State Express for sponsorship, as in some countries they cannot advertise cigarettes.
