Stop debating it then

Agree Sidney, and agree with most of the previous comments from ER. Nick ideally needs to ride abroad but his only option initially may be to d/u, but keep improving this year while pushing to get in to a foreign team during this season.
-
Nick will be in a tough position as most of his races will be against other heat leaders, but this may be what he needs and it may help him progress further. The way the averages will work out, due to the protected riders, if Simon or Nicolai go well they could be pushing Nick for the third heat leader position, again this could spur Nick on. He needs to get either a position with a PL club or ride on the continent as extra meetings seem to keep him sharp.

That is what happens when you give a dick head a bit of authority, power goes to their head.

Nick Morris going great in the Ben Fund this afternoon. 1333 beating Woffinden and Craig Cook who is also going well. GB won 45 39 but bet Rosco is very happy with Nick who was the top scorer for ROW. In the individual Nick beat Pedersen to get to the final, but in a battle for first with Cook both came down and race awarded. 1st Cook, 2nd Grajczonek, 3rd King. Both riders up and ok.

No, but can be used for the same purpose

The crowd at Swindon goes up when Poole visit. They are exciting meetings and the other reason is because we usually beat them.

It does seem to be something the authorities do not do. It would not get it right every time but it would help reducing the loopholes that seem to be there after changes take place.

Would like to see a change to a few meetings if they can find the time, also this would enable them to have to meetings spread around the country which would probably get more fans attending. -

No they pay whatever the Berni can screw out of them. -
Good luck to Troy but as he is not our number 1 are we allowed a guest or is it that overused rider r/r when having to be away on a friday

I would put a few quid on him being higher at the end of the year than Bomber.

Swindon have arranged a meeting on thurs March 27th against some team from darkest Dorset, their first home meeting. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2136.1 This should be a good meeting and It is the first leg for the Elite Shield . Also the Bob Kilby meeting has been moved to the end of the season so you do not have to worry about your family lunch date Red Robin

Oh dear.

So the confusion about the bspa statement from these posters is wrong. No doubt it will be clarified at some point, then we shall find out if it is ambiguous or not.
-
That is what I am wondering if it meant and the statement issued is another ambiguous statement from the bspa.
-
The bspa wording does not make it clear if the top rider rides at number 1 and second two can be either 3 or 5. It says that the top three riders in MA ride at 1, 3 or 5. I read this as the top rider does not have to be in the No 1 position and 1,3 and 5 are the top three riders in any order. 4th and 5th can ride at 2 or 4. Riders 6 and 7 can ride at 6 or 7. If the top three riders can ride in any of those three positions it makes the line ups very interesting and an order that may change home and away. Apart from that, the top riders meeting each other more is better for the fans but as I mentioned way back in this thread it may not be for the top riders pay.
