Good weather down in Swindon so hoping for a big crowd tonight, and a good crowd at Poole this morning, it will be great if all meetings today have good attendance figures.

Hope he is ok for the rest of the meeting and the one tonight. Edit Out for the rest of this meeting is a blow for Poole. Do not like meetings decided because of injury.

No he was not included on the draft list to start with, presumably he declined along with the others who have # against their name on the the latest draft list. The riders now added to the draft are only available as guests. He is riding for Poole tomorrow.

Quite a while ago Andrew Silver rode in three meetings in one day. If my memory is correct he rode at Reading or Oxford in the morning, not sure where in the afternoon, and at Swindon in the evening. The start of the Swindon meeting was delayed a bit and when his van arrived he went straight out onto the track as his bike had been warmed up in the back of the van, with the door ajar, during the last few miles of travel.

I wonder if the check in staff at the airport will go spare when he tries to take his bike on the plane as hand luggage.

To use a guest rider from the draft list do they ask the bspa, who created the list, the club who "owns" the rider or the EL team they are riding for.

Certain clubs were allowed to have their own assets or NL team riders from the list before the rest picked who were available.

I agree that it would have been better with the riders you list and am not sure why some of them were not included unless it was difficult finding enough numbers of riders at that level.

Are these meetings still joint EL and Elite Shield ?

He should do well on a wet track, no wonder he has signed for Belle Vue. Swindon slipped up there. What now happens re our draft reserve if they need him in their 1 - 5

Enjoyed the reserves racing at Poole on the box last night, but a bit concerned about replacements when meetings clash, especially this friday when so many meetings take place. Would rather see young brits than foreigners, but give it a few months and see how it goes.

Yes CR I agree with RR and also reckon Benji will beat Smart, and if Smart makes the gate he will be so surprised he will fall off.

Having watched the meeting last night I am not too worried about the meetings on friday. Not having Steve Worrall is a major loss and Poole have a very good reserve in Kyle Newman. A lot will depend if Magic has an on or off night. The Robins will match the rest of the team, should win at home and get at least a point in Dorset. Both SS and Starman are getting their excuses in already.
