It is about 200 miles, quite a distance, depends what time his last race at Sunthorpe is.
Have just checked route maps and they indicate a lot of speed cameras.
Weather forecast keeps changing
Now dry but cloudy but light rain coming in tonight, now forecast at 10pm.
Swindon have a full team tomorrow with Steve travelling to Swindon after his meeting at Scunthorpe, this meeting starts at 3 so he will need to have a fast car.
Birmingham are bringing in K Katijisto in place of Daniel Nermark. KK has been riding well for Plymouth, and should be exciting to watch as he seems to be a bit mad on the track.
They also have Barker at number 1 and Kennett at 4.
In Swindon we have a few pubs with multiple screens where they can show different sports at the same time in different areas of the pub. In the case of one pub that supporters go to they have speedway on the main screen and other sports on the other screens in the same room so that while watching speedway other channels can be seen. In the other bars they might have football or rugby on the main screen.
Even though pubs where you are may concentrate on 20 blokes kicking a bag of air around, it may be worth asking any if they would show the speedway on a separate screen, and if you can get a group of fans to turn up it would help.
If you have a supporters group you could try asking them if they meet anywhere where they show it.
A meeting date has been changed, the away visit to Birmingham on June 18th has been moved to June 2nd and is to be shown on Sky.
Now Swindon are on Sky on
May 14th at Kings Lynn
May 26th home against BV
June 2nd at Birmingham
Used to love going to the internationals we had, But since the GPs we do not have them anymore.
They do have a few, under 21 or 23 but bring back the full ones, even if it is one 3 match series per year.
Peter is looking forward to Hans riding tonight in place of Troy.
He will be a good guest and it will be fun now that he is captain bossing Hans around.
Just hope the weather improves.
Commentators stating that the track is causing difficulties with riders hitting ruts and going off line.
Birmingham leading 32 -28 after heat 10, rain coming down, surly time to abandon the meeting for riders safety.
