If he did average 7 or 8 points the trouble then would be that he would go ahead of Nick in the averages and be a heat leader again where he would be beaten by most other heat leaders in the league. Give Simon a chance for a few weeks and if a change needs to be made we need someone who can put in a reasonable performance as a heat leader, as the likely hood would be that they and Nick would keep changing places.

Simon has been frustrating, but he has invested in new engines and seems to have improved last monday and last night at Coventry where over riding cost him points. Give him till the end of May and if his performance reverts to how it was before the changes then look for a replacement, if one can be found.

Certain Poole fans told us that Benji had been signed before May 1st when he was below Lee on the draft list, although this was not shown on the team line ups. Benji is now above both Lee and Ben so is not an option unless he is signed but not shown and Ben is a guest replacement due to the injury to Benji.
