Not according to this http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2636389 Have to hope the forecast changes throughout the day and bear in mind Blunsdon does have its own micro climate and can often be different to Swindon.
-
That is not good, too many of these youngsters are getting injured.
-
Stefan Nielsen crashed at Rye House and withdrew from meeting this afternoon, no news yet if he will able to ride in this meeting.
-
Most of the rain has been coming from the south, I blame the EU .

Line up here http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2210 Should be a good meeting with Zagar, Nicholls, Cooke and the rest of the BV team. Simon, listed as Simin, is this a twin brother we do not know about, has to put in a decent score in this meeting. This will be the first home meeting for Nathan who I hope can get a couple of points.
-
Yes, sorry about that, I missed the score that Janusz Kolodziej got, have to get my eyes tested. Janusz 14 points Peter 13 points Jonas Davidsson 12 points

Lakeside V Poole Saturday 24th May 8pm

Two down only one to go at Eastbourne. -
The drainage system at Blunsdon has been awful for many many years. Work was done a couple of years ago on the drains inside bends 1 and 4 which can deal with rain but not downpours. Maybe G Cooke can explain but the following seems to happen. The drains and pipes leading from the track cannot cope with a large volume of water. They used to get clogged up with silt from the speedway and greyhound track. Not sure if this is still the case, but the water does not appear to flow away from the drains fast enough. With the greyhound track being higher than the speedway track, and no drainage between the two tracks water flows off the greyhound track and across the speedway track. This also brings sand from the greyhound track with it. Many years ago the staff wanted to dig a drainage channel between the two tracks but due to the restricted width and power cables etc in this area they were not allowed to. Bend 1 is probably the lowest part of the whole stadium complex and water collects there.

You cannot do that as Wright is on the draft list as a guest and not a rider available full time.

Good comment Red Panda, If only certain posters had the same view, rather than a win at any cost attitude. -

Lakeside V Kings Lynn 19 May El A Sky Match

Did not see the meeting, how many times did Tatum or Pearson mention Darcy Ward ? -
July 4th away at Coventry, SEC meeting in Germany July 6th. He should be able to ride in both meetings, but there may be a question mark. July 21st away at BV, SEC meeting in Russia on 20th, could be awkward getting back in time. Aug 8th away at Eastbourne, SEC meeting in Denmark Aug 9th, practice could be a problem.

This thursday sees the team from Leicester visiting with a couple of Swindon riders that ride for them. Looking forward to seeing Jason and Mads returning. Jason and Mads ride the Abbey circuit well and should provide some good heats. Simon Stead is riding at Sheffield and is replaced by Sam Masters Patrick Hougaard is replaced by Ben Barker, my favorite rider Rosco has switched Simon to ride at number 2 and Dak at 4 but Simon is going to have to up his performance in the meeting, especially when he rides against Sam Masters. If he does qualify it will be good for him, but then there will be more clashes with our meetings later in the year. He could miss 3 or 4 unless they are rearranged.

I pressed the like for the post about the bit where he stated "The coombdog hangs his head in shame". If I knew how to do it I would of highlighted that bit.

PK is riding in an SEC semi final I think it is a Qualifier http://www.peterkildemand.com/resultater/
