  1. Swindon must have one of the longest straights so a higher speed, until they shorten the track this winter.
  2. But they are not moving bends 3 and 4, just 1 and 2
  3. It will be moved nearer bends 3 and 4 and it would be out of line of the current refs box.
  4. Which unless payments are confirmed by sponsors I cannot see a squad system being affordable or working apart from the odd top rider from Poland or Denmark who wants and is willing to share a place for x number of meetings, but then he might want to be free to chose to ride for other clubs when not being used. I think I recall that Matt was sounding out the idea of a squad system with Chris Holder and Darcy Ward sharing the number one position at Poole a couple few years ago.
  5. Many in Poland get a lot more than that for signing.
  6. Is the bspa going to publish the 2018 final green sheet averages and any idea when ?
  7. Unless people like you are prepared to put the covers out and take them up when the rain stops forget that idea.
  8. But it seems most riders in Poland get a signing on fee at the start of their contract, which quite often is each year, so they get money if in the squad even if they do not ride. I cannot see that working with our tight Promoters.
  9. I see the idiot is posting rubbish again
  10. Only because either the rider had signed a lifetime contract to be owned by Poole, unlikely, or did not have the backbone to face up to Matt.
  11. The remaining teams can have their own knock out comp.
  12. If the rider is not used by Poole he can decide where he rides, not Matt. Matt does not "own" the riders, they are self employed who contract to ride for a club.
  13. It seems yes as written in bspa statement, no doubt the managers know the detailed wording, if they have made it up yet.
  14. That is the rule book as written by Matt F.
  15. I think you will find it is for all riders that have been in the NL, nothing to do with nationality, but as usual the lack of statement details is not helpful.
  16. This years final average for the Swindon team is about 40.1, that is before the 2.5% reduction for some of the riders so even if we kept the same 1-6 we have 2.4 points approx for a stronger reserve and 1- 5 rider.
  17. I think I read that he was heading to BV but we might be able to get Nick and Zach to have words with him when they see him in Australia this winter.
  18. Have wanted MPT since he rode at Swindon, a good tidy rider.
  19. Would not object to a swap for a season, it might help both of them
  20. No worries, the 2.5 reduction may not apply to Nick as the reduction statement does not make it clear who it applies to so do not take that as confirmed yet.
