  1. Next month they are showing Leicester Eastbourne, now that will be dreadful, but I assume they are sharing the sky money around the tracks.
  2. The robins could get a point tonight or even more if Piotr has another meeting like he did last week. Also both Steve and Nathan race at the track for Cradley This would have been a good meeting for sky, so I will be listening to the excellent BBCwm rather than watching Eastbourne.
  3. Muckheap ! cheeky bu##er. This should be a good close meeting if all riders are available and fit. I am looking forward to seeing Robert Lambert for the first time. The robins are getting better each week and will be looking to win this, what they have to stop doing is get a lead which is then reduced or even given away in the last few heats.
  4. Well MJJ rode in the GP and is riding again today in Poland. So is he as unreliable as he has been previously or did he not want to be beaten by Killer on thursday as he was last night.
  5. Probably not as they do not appear clever enough.
  6. With that performance Peter should have sealed his place in the Danish World Cup Team. JJR did ok but Peters pick as the wild card was correct. Brilliant results for both Peter and Troy, just a shame it did not work out for them in the final. Troy deserved to win the final , but credit to NKI on his win and the other finalists.
  7. The above mentions that this is being built to Elite League standard, is that the same as the track size being designed to be able to hold International Meetings, which I believe have to be a minimum width etc.
  8. A sensible owner who wishes to stay in business does
  9. For anyone who paid to park their car last night, keep your tickets and present them on July 3rd for free parking. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2235
  10. The new averages for July show that Jacob Thorssell takes over a heat leader position from Ricky Wells, I think this is the first change in this new system this season. There are other teams where a second string is getting close to the lowest heat leader. http://www.speedwaygb.co/14issues/el14_issue19.pdf
  11. The dogs grave is at RAF Fairford just north of Swindon, his owner lives in Norfolk. The dog was the mascot of the Red Arrows. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-28035750
  12. Got to the track and it rained from 5.30 till 6.30, the track itself was ok but more rain was due through till 9. Another meeting to rearrange.
  13. This is now at least twice he has been "ill" when due to ride at Swindon.
  14. So MJJ replaced by L Bridger, now on the Cov website, we now have Josh and Lewis as heat leaders.
  15. JJR fan club seems to have been on "enforced leave". No news anywhere so far, would like to see him at Swindon tonight, but if he does not turn up I would not be surprised.
  16. Josh Grajczonek rides in place of Nick who who is suffering after crash at Leicester last sat.
  17. I think he has ridden once but he was not as good as you know who was telling everybody. He has improved since then and it will be interesting seeing him ride against Killer.
  18. The limit is 4 guest rides from the FTD list for the same team, and yes KL need to look at keeping very good replacements available for the play offs if their own riders are injured or unavailable. This would be a good move unless they are meeting Swindon.
  19. They could have saved the prog on Woofy for when they do get a rain off. Anyway this should be a good meeting.
  20. But Nicks scores were no better, anyway good result.
  21. Kildermand needed that win and with Batch 2nd are still in the hunt. Unfortunately Craig is not.
