  1. With the astute decisions the bspa make probably the bank in Portugal that is going bust.
  2. Spoke to him tonight and he is trying all he can to get back for the meeting.
  3. A good close meeting tonight and with the mistakes and falls Swindon had we were lucky not to be beaten. Darcy was outstanding and always a joy to watch. The Swindon rider of the night was Simon but both sides had heat leaders that under performed. Peter and Nicks scores were disappointing as were the scores of Magic and Przemyslaw. Swindons second string riders were stronger and that is what gave us the win.
  4. Very hot in Swindon, 1pm forecast update still shows sunny right through the day and no rain. Message on website it for fans to get to the stadium early as a larger than normal crowd is expected as those going to Somerset or Cardiff may also be visiting to see Swindon - Poole, always a good meeting.
  5. Due to the visa cock up Jason is not allowed to guest, otherwise Swindon would have used him on a couple of dates.
  6. This thursday the Pirates visit the Abbey. Swindon should have their normal line up and these clashes are always good and usually a large contingent of fans travel from Poole. Will have to see how Darcy performs on wed against BV as he may be suffering from his injuries, but they have good riders in Josh, Przemyslaw and Vaclav Milik. After our performance against Kings Lynn Swindon should get the win on the night.
  7. You could call it something unique like The Knockout Cup.
  8. Good result in European Championships for Killer 2nd place Nicki Pedersen 1st in the final Peter 2nd Janusz Kolodziej 3rd Tomasz Gollob 4th http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/13574/european-championships-round-gustrow-2014
  9. They may find it easier to use to use a different stadium for FIM events with all the hassle involved in pitch modification and possible event clashes.
  10. Charles Wright as a replacement for Steve is a bit of luck for Swindon and after last night performance a welcome one. Swindon could get some points tonight, if the meeting goes ahead.
  11. If they put in the same effort next week they will also beat those pesky Pirates.
  12. Jack went round at the end with a few others including Nathan, it was not a race but he looked good.
  13. Great result for the Robins, and thanks to Charles Wright, who on the night was as good as Steve. Our second strings easily beat the stars and our heat leaders, apart from Troys first two rides showed what they could do. We need to do that every week at Blunsdon. Too many pessimists predicted we would get beaten. Also enjoyed the second half, we need one more often.
  14. For those who do not have to rush away after the meeting tonight there is a second half with 6 heats of junior riders. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2241 Is there any news on Lewis Rose following his accident last night.
  15. If the transmission is as on the schedule I wonder if there is any way they can show the races on a delay till they catch up with the live meeting, rather than what they did last time and not show the first few heats.
  16. It is not right to not turn up for this event as a protest, the best way to do that is not to turn up to a bspa meeting.
  17. No indication yet who will be replacing Steve for this yet, what is more of a concern is who will replace him on fri at Coventry as eight PL clubs are racing that night.
  18. After crashing out on GP bets thanks for this one Kildemand £ 20 more Vaculik £ 10 more
  19. I think he will be riding for Edinburgh, we have the same issue on fri at Coventry.
  20. Not a good performance, Wolves deserved to win as only Steve did well.
  21. You will all be welcome but how long would it take your horse and cart to get here.
