Well I for one would go to Cardiff and watch most of the GPs even if there was not a Brit in it. I would prefer there to be one but only on ability, I hope Tai does not end up with very few points, but when you look at the ability of most current Brits I would question the inclusion.

At the moment they have two races set up, one with 3 riders and one with 2, If first and second go through to a final why bother with the heat with only two riders?

Yes, the last time I went it had the following: Beds Table and chairs Floor covering Lighting and Heating. A roof that kept out the rain and snow.

Nothing wrong with camping, the sites have to have the required facilities, unless you just pay a farmer to set up a tent in his field. I am sure there are plenty of sites on the coast within 15- 30 mins journey, or near a train station to travel into Cardiff.

I would check out any accommodation up to 10 or 15 miles around Cardiff.

Fully agree would far rather see an old meeting. They could actually show some of the old meetings through the winter on a monday night.

It is not the doctor who states when a race can be run, it is the person controlling the meeting who should have been aware that the doctor was not on the track. It is possible that there were two fully qualified medical people at the stadium and that one was on the centre green. If not the doctor should inform the person in charge that he is leaving the track, maybe he did, in which case it is not the doctors fault.

You could easily reduce the number of heats by not having too many riders in the Qualifying Meeting. Reduce it to 10 or 12 riders.

Also Tai top scored for GB in the World Cup race off, if he can handle the pressure of being in the GPs put him in, there is no point of continuing with riders who have had their chance and not done that well. As with the World Cup they should give the youngsters the experience and that includes the likes of Tai. The one proviso is that would the probable lack of success initially knock his confidence.

When we last had a world champion, I cannot remember any acknowledgement of this on any tv sports programme, and very little in the press. If it happens, no matter how small the sport is get it mentioned everywhere. Certain radio stations are now putting out speedway and doing a very good job, the authorities need to do all they can to publicise any success we have. I wonder how many sports reps of the national press, radio and tv have been given tickets to Cardiff. If not Cardiff try the EL riders Championship at Swindon.

It has been announced on the news this evening that the Planned strike of staff who work at the toll booths on the Severn Bridges has been suspended therefore the bridges will be open on Friday and Saturday. I would still check before you leave.
