Not on Swindon's curry island, but have spent time in different parts of the world, when you often find out that many British versions of foreign food taste nothing like the original. I agree that some curries have been invented, as you say, in the uk, and in certain restaurants are excellent. One of the best curries I have had in the uk was in Wolverhampton. Why can they not do what they did last year and have all the meetings being shown on one website which is updated every month. The one they had last year still shows schedule for March and the new one shows next meeting as Berwick as mentioned above. If I remember correctly the Coventry meeting against Wolves finished at about 9.10 pm so there is no excuse for a delayed start or drawn out meeting, apart from accidents etc. Mind you for the Coventry fans this meeting should have finished about 8.

They also have scheduled highlights of the GP of Europe from 4.30 pm - 6 pm tomorrow, well worth watching if you missed it. Good English food like a Curry or Kebab.

Meeting was very good with plenty of overtaking and action. Well done Emil and what a performance from Tai, he has certainly exceeded a lot of peoples expectations. Have two thoughts about heat 14, what a cut under by Darcy, it just showed his ability to read what the other riders may do and take advantage of their actions. The down side was that this cut back and win reduced my winnings on the betting thread. Never mind it was still a brilliant race and showed what Darcy is capable of doing this year.

Rosco has been asked to step in for this meeting by Mark Lemon, who is unable to manage the Australian under 21 team for the World Cup Qualifier on April 28th. This is a good choice as he can motivate riders, it is just a pity that the BSPA have not used his skills in the same way.

With the cold weather Speedway has had this year a change has been announced for May 1st. A pipe will be fitted to the end of the exhaust and will be fed through the bike frame and out of the handle bars, this will reduce the noise and keep the riders hands warm.
