  1. If any rider wants to double up/down the team send in that request in their team line up and the bspa authorise that option. It is up to the bspa to be aware that a non eu rider cannot ride for a second employer.
  2. Agree, if the visiting team is a bit naff or the weather iffy or the sky match was between two good teams, many more would stay at home and watch what is being shown.
  3. So Matt wants C Holders visa sorted well before the start of the season. Is he aware that is only 5 or 6 weeks to the start of the season and he has to deal with a government agency, not the most efficient of organisations. We have the same issue at Swindon with Batch, but I think getting this all sorted well before the season start is going to be difficult.
  4. Will that be before or after the BSPA have been on a course to learn how to put together a readable, clear, statement.
  5. Chris will have to pay her as a secretary.
  6. Nick Morris has duel nationality and does not need a visa.
  7. I am sure this topic will end as soon as the FIM result is known, so those above are going off on a tangent
  8. If the heading for this thread is changed to 2015, as it is a very useful and appreciated topic, Sky first EL coverage 2015 Kings Lynn - Lakeside March 31st.
  9. March 31st Kings Lynn v Poole is the first EL meeting of 2015 to be shown on SKY for those that cannot attend.
  10. Same question has been asked on the Swindon thread, with ref to Charles Wright it depends who he is an "asset" of, but I think he will be at your meeting.
  11. At Swindon they have used the sheets available for sky meetings and it took hours, and when taken up they have to be removed from the track because of the dog racing. The only practical method is to have covers on wheels like they have at cricket matches which can be wheeled into place by a couple of people, but the problem then is where do you store them as you cannot leave them on the centre green, also at most tracks you have a narrow gate leading out to the track. This method would enable fewer people to deal with the covers, but they are expensive, difficult to move about and store. You still need to find and call in volunteers, possibly on a non race day to put them out.
  12. All seems to have changed Matt but rules not published yet, someone will have to ask Rosco on thurs night, Jan 29th. at the Supporters Club AGM.
  13. Only looked at March and April, and the clashes were bad enough for those months, did not realise it was as many as you say for the rest of the season. With Nick we get priority Kyle it seems Workington do The two FTR, ? .
  14. Can anyone confirm the priority of D/U rider where both the EL and PL club race on the same day, as now that the fixtures are published there seem to be quite a few clashes of meetings.
  15. The fixture list on the Swindon website appears to have the meetings against Poole on April 3rd the wrong way round, we appear to be at Poole in the morning at 11 and back at Blunsdon at 7.30. http://www.swindonrobins.co/fixtures15.php
  16. I see that the first EL meeting is against Leicester on March 28th (prov). This is a brilliant start if not changed as Somerset, Workington and Newcastle also race that day, so subject to the rider priority rules we could start with 3 replacements for Kyle Howarth and the two FTR riders. There are also clashes on April 9th,10th and 23rd.
  17. This season they were lucky to get the meetings shown on sky and I am under the impression that the club being shown get a small amount.
  18. Report on twitter Rosco just done a deal with our new number 1 Travis Moose McGowan. Must be for Roscos dart team or is it that Moose is the spanner for our new number 1.
  19. Sounds like number 1 could be signed this weekend, and the likely name on the cards is A Miedzinski, according to Swindonlink .
  20. No but they are bringing up the possibility of riders sharing a position at the bspa meeting this month, and see if Jason can ride as number 1 for both teams
  21. If Ward has signed a contract and part of that contract is that he has to abide by FIM rules then they can ban him from riding. If the FIM also control domestic speedway they can ban him from riding in which ever domestic league they control. He can go and ride where ever the FIM do not have control.
