Yes Richard was very good and I will be watching the team results with more interest this year and also have your meeting at Somerset in diary. Overall you have a very good team. The crossing of Hadrians Wall will not be a problem for Nick as he will be at 20,000 ft, he will be flying up for most meetings, hence the need for his passport or whatever i/d is needed if the airlines still want to see i/d even for an internal flight.

We have had a start gantry and coloured lights, red, blue, white and yellow over the riders at Swindon in the past and once it is dark they certainly add to the atmosphere.

Spoke to Nick Morris and his mechanic at the Ben Fund, he looked fast and I think his mechanic said that the bikes he won on were the ones he was going to use at Glasgow. I did forget to mention that he might need his passport when travelling for the home meetings.

That is a shame, like him as a rider and individual.

Totally agree. Also many thanks should go to Neil Vatcher for arranging the British Youth Riders races and getting them included by the organisers of the meeting. They were a joy to watch and the inclusion of them in any other meeting or second half would be a bonus to any meeting

Hope they are on Eurosport as the racing is better than when it was on sky

Looked a bit wild this afternoon, give him a few meetings to see if he improves.

Nick Morris looked very good this afternoon, fast out of the gate and pulling away from the opposition to win the Ben Fund meeting. Kyle Howarth who finished 3rd in the final also showed some good speed. Both impressed and with Zengi all three should be good back up for the top two riders.

In future ignore the BBC weather forecast. As per the system I often use, and mentioned earlier, there was a shower at about 1pm then it was dry all afternoon. I agree with Chalkie, the meeting was good and the racing got better as the meeting went on. Anyone who did not go missed out on seeing some good young riders. From Swindons point of view Nick Morris showed a lot of speed and Kyle Howarth looked good as well.

Weather forecast has been changing all day and now down to 2hrs between 1 and 3pm on the BBC forecast and virtually no rain on another site. If concerned best to recheck in the morning.

Should be a Brit, but at this stage any rider would be welcome.

They can also report on Kyle Newman who has joined the lineup at The Ben Fund Meeting on Sunday, good for him for riding. Am looking forward to seeing him riding with Kyle Howarth in the Brit team against the young Poles, Danes and Australians especially Nick Morris.
