  1. To be repeated on Quest 2pm on tues 5.8.14, followed by football on motorbikes
  2. I used to miss meetings on Euro 2 as well so now look at this each week http://tv.eurosport.co.uk/tvschedule.shtml I also look at the thread Speedway on TV 2014
  3. Am glad Andre does not appear to be as badly injured as first thought. The meeting was another example of why sky should show more PL meetings rather than some of the dross they have been. A good meeting with plenty of action from some of the young guns on each side. Brady will have to get sky to update the photo they used for each heat he was in as he looked about 12 years old.
  4. Cannot see why they cannot ride as they normally race many nights a week, another stupid rule.
  5. Then next week we have World Cup Sat, Tues, Thurs, Sat. A PL meeting on Mon, and many repeats for anyone who has missed them. All good stuff.
  6. With clubs that use greyhound stadiums it is difficult having just one night, also if racing was on one night only how many fans would stay at home and watch the meeting on sky if their home track had a poor club visiting. Two consecutive nights is a good idea and would save a lot of flights etc but that is also difficult. There is not an easy answer.
  7. They could have the European GP inthe UK as well as Cardiff, providing the dates are well apart, but would not want it at Wembley. Most fans enjoy the whole day out, some more than a day, and the surroundings around the Cardiff Stadium with all the pubs etc are good. Where at Wembley could all the fans from clubs all over the UK and some from abroad meet up for a day. It is a few years since I have been at Wembley but the surrounding area is awful. When they rebuilt Wembley they had the opportunity to have a multi purpose stadium with an athletics track but the FA did not want that, also as mentioned above the fact that Cardiff has a roof is a major plus which prevents a rain off and it also adds to the atmosphere within the stadium.
  8. Thanks DSC67, have just checked again and it is now listed ch 38 for me as it is a pain in the ar#e getting rid of all the rubbish channels after a retune.
  9. Is it this sat as cannot find this in the schedule listings for sat, anyone know when it is on ?
  10. Due to the visa cock up Jason is not allowed to guest, otherwise Swindon would have used him on a couple of dates.
  11. They may find it easier to use to use a different stadium for FIM events with all the hassle involved in pitch modification and possible event clashes.
  12. If the transmission is as on the schedule I wonder if there is any way they can show the races on a delay till they catch up with the live meeting, rather than what they did last time and not show the first few heats.
  13. After crashing out on GP bets thanks for this one Kildemand £ 20 more Vaculik £ 10 more
  14. Probably not as they do not appear clever enough.
  15. With that performance Peter should have sealed his place in the Danish World Cup Team. JJR did ok but Peters pick as the wild card was correct. Brilliant results for both Peter and Troy, just a shame it did not work out for them in the final. Troy deserved to win the final , but credit to NKI on his win and the other finalists.
  16. The above mentions that this is being built to Elite League standard, is that the same as the track size being designed to be able to hold International Meetings, which I believe have to be a minimum width etc.
  17. Kildermand needed that win and with Batch 2nd are still in the hunt. Unfortunately Craig is not.
  18. The three I wanted to do well got through, good on Mads, Jason and Nicolai. Now for the second one, come on Peter Kildemand, Batch and Cook, can keep an eye on this while following the fiasco at Leicester
  19. Heat 14 could be the decider for Chris Harris, up against Mads, Klindt and Meidinski all of which are above him so far, even though he has an easy heat 18.
  20. Cannot find any updates on sportoweFakty, the normal source of info. Current score would be appreciated. Thanks
  21. The only difference being that the riders would use the spades etc, whereas many council workers use them to lean on to stop them falling over when having a kip between spurts of activity ie tea breaks and lunch time.
