Can anyone confirm the priority of D/U rider where both the EL and PL club race on the same day, as now that the fixtures are published there seem to be quite a few clashes of meetings.
-
This season they were lucky to get the meetings shown on sky and I am under the impression that the club being shown get a small amount.

I used the phrase gave away as a meaning of having no benefit to the speedway federations.
-
Re Speedway it seems the FIM take money from the riders etc but put very little back into the sport. It also seems to be the case that they gave the GP rights away to an organisation that puts very little or nothing back into speedway. I am waiting to see if the federations wake up and run under a different organisation who at least put profits from Internationals and World Championships back into grass roots speedway via the individual federations. If Ward is not included in the Poole team I would not object to him riding for Swindon but would be a little concerned when we race Poole.

Sounds like a few other marketing organisations, full of bull excreta.
-
Is this the same organisation that asked if Swindon Speedway if they had advertised in the local press for a rider before they offered a contract to an Australian rider, they obviously have no idea how teams are built.
-
One of things we need is some International meetings for the youngsters, we have plenty of young Australian riders here in the season set up an under 21 and under 25 set of matches spread throughout the country. If poss get the youngsters over from Denmark, Sweden and Poland and visit those countries as well.

I have been told that anyone buying a house near the new stadium at Swindon will be made aware of the speedway, as they may purchase in the winter, and they will have to accept the fact that bike noise will happen. The developer is trying to amend the original plans, which had a light industrial trading estate between the stadium and the houses, and is now wanting to reduce the size of the light industrial area and build more houses which will be built nearer the stadium but as far as I am aware this change in plans has not yet been given the go ahead.

One of the MPs involved was very instrumental in the Swindon development at Blunsdon which we hope has safeguarded the building of the new Stadium. -

Just wait for the outcome, then another 132

Only because Poole have to get rid of a rider I agree Starman 36 would have given the option for stronger teams, and if they think the GP riders will be attracted back, by using 34, a few 2nd heat leaders could struggle to get into a team.

Only one TR now and when 10 points down is an improvement, as is the holding of the AGM next year before the end of the season so that teams can sort out any foreign riders before they go home. This will also help with the visa issue.

Both Birmingham & Cradley Riding N L At Perry Barr In 2015
A ORLOV replied to lucifer sam's topic in National League Speedway
Very good idea, they could have it over two legs, home and home, just get the riders to use different areas in the pits for each meeting. This arrangement could be very good for both teams when they race on alternate wednesdays as it is possible that Brum fans may also go to watch the Cradley meetings and vice versa. The management could also offer a joint season ticket. -
News from the agm should be available about 5pm, according to Linksport reporter Swindon 5pm must be the time the bar shuts
-
Do the riders get mileage payments as well, Plymouth to Edinburgh is a long way and quite a cost.

If your interpretation of not a real fan of someone who has sponsored riders and the junior team and attended virtually every home meeting and meetings away since 1975 so be it. -

Agree with all the above, and think about the times when I had to wait for the local paper to come out the next day to find out if the Robins had won away. -
No, it is the Churchill.
