Good result for the Robins, we did better than I thought we would without Killer and the Swindon riders really stepped up to cover the r/r. Nick showed tonight how he is improving this year, Zengi rode well for his 12+2 points and Batch is getting back to where he was before his injury. Charles deserves credit for his wins in heat 4 and 12 and I feel that Lewis can improve with a bit of help.

With the expected snow in Swindon tonight maybe they ought to call the meeting off.

This was the first meeting seen on sky this year and as I have said before lets see more PL meetings rather than seeing the same teams in the EL. This was a brilliant meeting to watch with plenty of close racing and action.

Those four would struggle to reach 40 points with the new format especially the heat leaders against the opposition heat leaders and where they race with each other in the same race.
