Swindon did when Peterborough were in the top league years ago, we had purple kits when riding away, the colour of our main sponsor.
-
That is what should happen but certain promoters do not listen. If the promoter ignores the fans then the fans need to get together and not turn up for one meeting then when the promoter gets hit in the pocket they might change what is happening.
-
Need to see the whole outfit also previously when we raced Peterborough the race suits were very similar so something needed to change.
-
On the dog racing schedule they have meetings this week on mon, wed, fri and sat so I assume no track work being done this week. Maybe this is the reason why there is no date for Pand P yet.

Plus the oil from the bikes made it better, now banned. A few tracks had rubbish surfaces last year and it seemed it was a different shale they had used as the original supplier closed down.

2019 Championship Confirmed Signings
A ORLOV replied to AbbyTheWitch's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Blackheart, D Berge is no longer in the Somerset team he has been replaced by V Grobauer, can you change the team lineup for Somerset. -
They should do what Swindon does and record it then put it out on twitter or fb for others to see.
-
It is cheaper if team changes are planned
-
That is the trouble with the guest system
-
Agreed, they could have announced the full team before now, unless there may be a team change, and had each rider and sponsor put out a report, one a week or fortnight so there was continue news about the team. Information about each rider, his history and thoughts and hopes about the new season would have kept up some interest.
-
Am surprised there is not a challenge at the start of the season to test the track out
-
The two fastest will be announced as your reserves.
-
Could add at least £5 to the price

Swindon fixtures 2019 http://www.swindon-speedway.com/fixtures19 There are quite a few long gaps with no home meeting, will have to pop down to Somerset for a few meetings.
-
I just hope that it is Swindon or other track staff that do or supervise the track work and not some contractor that does not know what they are doing

So the management state the track change will take place next month and they can change it in about a week. Yet again the timescale is hopeful thinking when the drainage and track lighting etc have to be moved. What could be a major issue is that the main drainage for most of the track is under the present bend one, and this drainage has often caused problems. The drainage pipe used to go under the dog track and out under the car park and often got blocked up, which is why in addition to the water running off the dog track bend one was often waterlogged or on occasions a lake. This bend is being moved to allow the track to be shortened so it is likely a new drainage system will have to be installed as well, so the job of altering the track, moving the lighting and fence is not as simple as laying the track at Cardiff. It is good that they are hoping to do this in Feb and I just hope they do not find another excuse to delay the work.
-
News being released tomorrow, now will it be when they are starting on the track or more bs
-
Swindon Speedway only rents the track so has no say whatsoever re if and when any work will be done, so the club cannot put out any info apart from they are still waiting for the track owners to say something.
-
No
-
I hate it when he says a totally different rider, sometimes one who is not even in the race
-
The reply will be interesting.

And like at most meetings at Swindon last year, which finished 30 mins earlier than those the year before, would benefit many fans.
-
A lot depends on if they took their UK equipment with them or borrowed kit in Australia.

It would have made more sense to have either told the developers no houses could be built until the stadium was completed or limited the building to say 100 houses at which point the stadium should have been completed before any more were allowed to be started, so the planners are their own worst enemy, and the developers run rings round them.
