A good meeting with a close score up to heat 10 then Swindon started pulling away.
Nick only scored 3 and would normally score above that which would have given Swindon a larger gap.
We are now 2nd in the league table but have two away meetings where Coventry, on the same points, have two home meetings so unless we beat Poole and Kings Lynn away we are likely to end up in 3rd place.
Killer looked like he had never been away and other teams in the play offs must be a bit wary of Swindon and Coventry who have strong second string riders. We just need to get all our heat leaders scoring well at the same time.
Lewis returned and was very good with a win in heat 5.
It was a shame that Hans came off in heat 15 as both he and Chris Harris showed what they could do on our track and why in the past we have used those two as guests.
The one annoying thing was the number of restarts, and another time warning is needed. When they bought in the rule about not leaving the track they should have also included a 1 min restart for an unsatisfactory start and riders should go straight back to the tapes.
Any way roll on Monday for our meeting at Poole.
