  1. I know this is not speedway but for anyone interested in WW2 aircraft, there is the Battle of Britain flypast flying over Radnor St Cemetery, Old Town Swindon at 12.50 tomorrow. The flight apparently has many Spitfire and Hurricanes in it flying across Southern England.
  2. From anyone near or at the track what is the weather doing please as forecast has rain from 7pm through till midnight in the Manchester area.
  3. And who would Rosco have got rid of in order to re sign Kyle Howarth. I like Kyle and was not happy to see him go but as there are only 5 team places and Aaron is doing a good job, how can he be fitted back in. Bye the way what is the weather doing up there.
  4. It was the same going to Oxford and taking the mick out of the speedway star seller, hundreds of Robins fans grouped next to the pits.
  5. Fri is a bit far away but at the moment the forecast I use has rain up till 7am then dry all day
  6. The meeting is scheduled to be with Swindon current riders and past ones, but have no idea if an individual or team type meeting.
  7. It still looks like the weather could be the winner, drizzle from 1pm and rain from 5pm.
  8. The forecast for Coventry on monday is rain all day. The forecast for BV is drizzle from 1pm and rain from 5pm, so also likely to be cancelled.
  9. Good results for PK and Troy in GP tonight, PK ended up third behind Greg Hancock and Tai, and Troy got through to the semi final.
  10. Sky ahead of themselves, that is the line up for the final
  11. Would also reckon there is a good chance of BV - Swindon meeting not being run on monday either.
  12. Would have to try to hold BV to about a 6 point lead, anything bigger will be difficult to claw back unless as you say both Nick and Troy do better than they have recently.
  13. Not a good start or end to the meeting. The heat leaders could have and should have scored more and it was thanks to Scott, Aaron and the reserves that the loss was not greater. Jason Doyle showed what he could do and must surely be on our rider preference list next year. I just hope it was that the robins do not like the KL track, but they should be professional enough to ride any track. They will have to do better on Monday at BV.
  14. Yes, a crowd of 500 will give them a few £s to pay for one.
  15. It is not about racing a handful of meetings with Swindon, he knows how dangerous Roscos Robins can be over two legs
  16. That is because he would not want Poole to have to race Swindon in the final
  17. Doubt it as riders are free agents, are wolves paying Tai this year a retainer not to sign for any other club.
  18. He will be busy rushing between Coventry and Belle Vue.
  19. Hope Scott scores like he did on his first visit to KL ie 12 points rather than his second where he scored 3. Jason is a very good stand in for NKI but can Batch match his scores. Killer goes very well on the track and Zengi may do better than he did last time.
  20. BV reserves are good and can pose a problem for the Swindon ones, especially S Worrall.
  21. Agree for that possible final, but not for the semi's. Swindon need to get a win at KL and aim for 2nd.
  22. Oh Dear the forecast for Manchester on Monday is as usual, pi##ing down. Hope that changes.
  23. It would have been the case if Poole wanted to race against BV, but as they chose Coventry the other semi already decided.
