Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..
A ORLOV replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
As per Robins website both Jason and Nick will be riding at Somerset for the Robins. Also Hagon, Rosco is using Darryl in the Robins side, he must have read my post, he still needs one other rider. As stated elsewhere and by others Killer is riding for Somerset, I wonder if he will be at p&p on thurs at Swindon. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2632 -

Was unaware of PK riding for Somerset at the time of posting. Darryl is a Swindon asset and deserves all the rides he can get. -

Which if it happens will leave about 4 clubs in the EL, so that would be the end of EL racing. -

Had not seen that news anywhere, but this must be a disappointment for the Somerset fans. -

Maybe Rosco wants to balance the teams up a bit and put in someone like Darryl Ritchings. -

Looking at the design of the new stadium, the housing, stadium stand and noise barrier should keep the westerly wind away. -
No worry, the possible change was only announced today.

That is why I did not put that one in. I just wish sky would update its Speedway on Sky schedule.

Now on Swindons website. I bet all our Aussies are looking forward to p&p and the start of the season, especially with the lovely weather we are having including the snow which is falling today. When are they going to start the season later. -

It wont, which is what people have been saying for ages. Some clubs will drop to a lower league or pack it in. -
Hope this bet does not mean you will have to cut down on food this month.

Swindon press and practice just announced on twitter Thurs March 17th, riders on track at 5.30. -
Plan and location of the new stadium http://pa1.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess/files/098847815F3A1E8D23E070EF38FF150C/pdf/S_RES_16_0036-LOCATION_PLAN-516266.pdf Which is part of this http://pa1.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=O0L5L7PTG2I00 As stated before if you look at the plan it shows the overlap with the present stadium, so not sure how they are going to build the outside of bend 4 and the dog track during the season.

Well it is March 1st and there is still no further news on the planning app for the new stadium. -
Will it be in time for him to mechanic for Lewis Bridger in March
-
This would be a good idea but it has problems. The start mechanism would get clogged up with shale and damaged each time the track was graded and bladed. In motocross the starts tend to be off line and not ridden over each lap. The only way this might work is if the start was on concrete on the bend and off the racing circuit.

No, was never that far back which made it stupid to keep looking behind, must have been habit.
-
There was one rider last year that should have been excluded for looking behind him, cannot remember who it was but he was even looking behind him when he was last .

Unless I have read you post wrongly I am not putting forward a petty complaint about the stadium, if you read my post it states that it is a shame about the lack of viewing from bend 1 and 2. I can also assure you I am not worrying my head about it.
