  1. Even over 18 the club who took and distributed it might be open to legal action.
  2. The bspa have a plan for 2017? you are optimistic .
  3. I stated if he carries on like he did the other day, I did wonder if the hook would catch any. Info for any Swindon fans who are not able to go tonight, The Railway in Newport St is likely to be showing the meeting as they can show multiple sports and no doubt a few will want to see 20 blokes kicking a ball about.
  4. Football violence is a criminal offence where a court can issue a banning order. Taking pictures is probably a civil offence so a court cannot issue a banning order. Therefore a court, following a criminal case of footy violence, can insist that your photo is taken and distributed, goslow or the bspa cannot legally do it. They may possibly get a banning order if they got an injunction from a court banning periscoping but it is unlikely that they would be given the ok to take and circulate a photo of the individual. There is a big difference between criminal and civil law. As mentioned above a note in the prog cannot be upheld as a rule or reg, any rule or reg has to be available at the point of the taking up of the contract, ie payment by the fan and acceptance of the payment is the point of contract.
  5. The bspa have cocked the rules up again and now that it seems that some of the FTR riders are better than the riders in the positions 1 - 5, in some cases both FTR riders for a club, so it will not be long before riders who started in the top 5 will be a reserve. It looks like D Watt for Poole will soon be a reserve, followed by Chris Holder if he carries on scoring like he is at the moment. More importantly the weather for tonight looks good with a bit of rain due about 3pm, COYR.
  6. Only if the individual allows them to take his or her photo and or name so it would not be easy.
  7. An individual club could ban a member of the public from its track but it would be almost impossible to ban a member from all tracks.
  8. They are worth following as the info and speedway TV schedule is more up to date than their web page .
  9. This is all a cunning plan to end up with 5 heat leaders in the 1 - 5 from May 1st.
  10. You are not surprised that this is another ambiguous rule then ? Who thinks up these rules and then is responsible for putting them in the rule book.
  11. The winners of this meeting is difficult to predict, normally Roscos Roobins would win this but as some of the Swindon riders have not ridden as many meetings as Leicester and not ridden for a couple of weeks some of them may be a bit rusty. Leicester have made an improvement bringing in A Summers, a rider I would not have minded having back in the Swindon team this year.
  12. A good rider that has strengthened Leicester, will be interesting to see how he goes and if he can beat any of the Roobins heat leaders.
  13. Oh dear there is a threat of rain at Leicester between 4 and 8pm on wed on the BBC forecast.
  14. I would not pre buy any tickets from this bunch and no doubt many others would not either.
  15. Correct, any rules have to be published and be available at the time and place the ticket is booked or purchased. Also it would be impossible to have an offenders photo at all other tracks if the offender refused to have their photo taken.
  16. That was my question, and what happens if you refuse to let them take a picture of you.
  17. Would be interested to know how they would enforce a ban at all tracks.
  18. Not if the person putting a couple of races out on it with the agreement of the management, ie given a licence to do it. If they start showing too much then they are stopped SS did the management give you the ok to use periscope for a couple of races. ?
  19. Thanks Gem, corrected, I go to the pub to watch it but mon night till wed in the pub is too long.
  20. Hope not as Swindon are due there on wed which should be on sky.
  21. Would rather have an early call off rather than wait all day, get to the track and the meeting is cancelled. Also some of the riders travel a long way, anything up to 3 hrs to be at the track by about 6, longer if any Wolves rider lives abroad. With the call off I can now do a shift of pole dancing tonight.
