Thanks for that, does make it a little bit clearer, but agree there will be numerous green sheets initially then possibly every two weeks as reserves and bottom average of the 1 - 5 riders swap places most of the season. -

Yes it looks like a new green sheet every time a reserve has has the four relevant meetings, this multiplied by all the reserves is a hell of a lot, it is going to get very complicated especially as there is a delay between achieving the new average and it being used, when a reserve could have had a couple of meetings between those two dates which could overlap with the averages for the 1 - 5 riders also changing. -

That could do Justin some good, blimey how many sets of green sheets are we going to get this year. -
I wish you were right, but no they were talking out of the wrong orifice. The projected stadium has a spectator capacity of 3500 and confirmed parking for 572 vehicles at the stadium . If stadia uk charge for parking and there are alternatives available next door to the stadium do you think people are going to pay to park. I will not pay for parking if I can help it, I have never paid at Poole when I visit.

I was told by the management that Swindon was going to have the WC at their new stadium in 2016, should they move the venue, oh hang on a bit

You will need to keep away from the people around you smoking those strange fags

I would not bother watching a meeting on sky from Leicester, unless it was Swindon. I could not see sky returning there until the track is either changed or meetings been shown to be better than they are at the moment, 15 heats of processional boring racing, no thanks . -
With some construction companies or the sub contractors they use, if you saw the quality of the construction each day you would not buy the house. A hell of a lot can be hidden and not come to light for years by which time it is too late to get anything done about it apart from forking out good money to put it right. In this case the problem has come to light early and the council is getting it rectified.

Seems to be the case

That may be what they say or the ticket says, but a lawyer might advise that if the cancellation is due to negligence an individual has a right to sue for all the costs for the negligence. Many organisations put disclaimers out but they are not worth the paper they are written on. Look at all the problems about buying faulty goods at a shop and demanding a refund rather than either no refund or a credit note. My daughter when she was young was refused her money back for a faulty item she had bought but when I went in I demanded and got the refund.

Rosco does not need any more beer or curry and rice other wise he will not be able to get through the turn style. -
This is the question asked earlier but nobody knows the answer.

10 days is a bit tight for the BV - Poole meeting, with hopefully a couple of practice sessions before that.

You will meet plenty of Polish fans but you might need to speak to them early in the day before they have been in the pub for 5 hours. They are very friendly but some will be a bit inebriated. -
OK I got the projection wrong. I did not expect two things, a rutted track and the Swindon riders carrying on from the night before and not getting out of the gate, and yes some of the riders were rubbish . After the track was bladed there was a bit more overtaking, but in no way less than Leicester.

What a complete waste of time as signs inside the stadium and notes in the prog have no authority what so ever, unless there is a sign at the point of payment and entry. -
Do you know if this repair is being done under the supervision of a proper track person, now that it has been shown that it was done wrong once.
-
Couple of months, who are you trying to kid

It would be interesting to know if the Council and contractor used and asked for or employed the expertise of a speedway track person when building the track. The council here in Swindon have recently carried out a complex project and cocked it up because they did not ask for and ignored the offer of advice from local experts, they relied on consultants from elsewhere. The job has been signed off, again by the council, without asking the local experts if what had been done was ok or not and now the rate payer have a six figure repair bill to correct all the mistakes made.

The track was difficult and the Swindon riders were still slow out of the gate at the start of the meeting. The issue about the track was that only one tractor was ready to be used and the riders were not happy. As the track got worse the blade was put on the second tractor and it helped the state of the track a bit, but by then it was well into the meeting. Both tractors should always be ready for every meeting regardless of conditions. Wolves took advantage of the state of the track and Swindon did not. Charles was the best rider of the team, based on his position in the team, Jason did ok as did Josh, but the other 4 need to rapidly improve. Finally congratulations to Wolves who got out of the gate and adapted to the track.
