If any meeting is being shown it is KL - Poole since it is the only EL meeting on this week but the weather may be the winner. Have mentioned before the Sky live speedway web page is more often wrong than right.

Unless I have got this wrong I cannot see a fast track list listed for April, the last one listed on the bspa site is at the end of issue 5 for the EL with the period 1.3.16 - 31.3.16 for the FTR list. Maybe the April list is being kept quiet. -

Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..

Jason scoring ok in Poland for Micky Mouse Gora this afternoon getting 122331- 12+1. For Somerset - Peterborough Josh 11+1, Charles 10+2, Rohan 10 in a win 37 - 53. Looks like the EL has a week off, only KL - Poole scheduled for wed on sky, It is a pity we do not have a lower league team nearby for when we have breaks. -

Another system I use forecasts rain tues evening and light rain showers wed late afternoon -
No need to make the track bigger for the football, have you not heard that when the super stadium is built at Swindon Poole will hold their meetings there.

Sensible, well thought out rules. Start with a sensible average and say for a period of 3 or 5 years allow the teams to keep the same riders. Other teams can build up to the average of the top team for this 3 or 5 year period, after which the team limit is re set and it all starts again. A short period for practice before the meeting starts, this will help the away riders and check out the track. A quickly run meeting with the option of second half for juniors etc. The season to start when it is not so cold. Get rid of T/R. The return of only 2 points for a home win if the away team is within 6 points. I want to see close racing with plenty of overtaking and action and most meetings ending with close scores rather than white washes, we had those a few years back when we headed the league and quite frankly the races became predictable and boring. It would be good if most meetings were only decided in the last couple of heats.

I bet it is B cold as well if it is anything like Swindon at the moment

Just put direction to those threads on as one or two had asked what had happened and those had report. Shocking news, hope he recovers from it.

Belle Vue V Poole 27/4/16 Ela. The Big One.

Fine, I was also told the repairs should be finished quickly so hopefully a test meeting can take place soon. -

I just stated what someone said ie that the ground below the surface, before the track was laid, was not in the condition it should have been. That means no lumps of tarmac, concrete, clay etc or other material that may hold back water. You have stated that a large piece of tarmac from the original hockey pitches was stopping the water reaching the drainage. I see the two statements meaning the same, and not 100 million % not true FACT When you take the pictures it will be interesting to see how deep the track and ground below the track has been dug out, as it seems that the ground below the track would not allow the water to drain away. -
That is a hell of a shame but understandable, many thanks for early notification and post on here Bryn.

They could easily change it so that the management and ftr rider can decide if the ftr rider going into the 1 - 5 becomes a heat leader or second string, once that decision is made then they stick at it. They also need to change the average calculation format or next year the averages are going to be more of a joke than they are now.

Belle Vue Grand Opening Refund?
A ORLOV replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
As the above is ambiguous and not clear it is difficult to answer. What has a plaster called Colin got to do with it? Who did the roof fall on? If you mean a plasterer carried out the job and you were a visitor to the house you would sue the house owner as they are the prime owner. It would then be up to the house owner to sue whoever was responsible for the ceiling falling in. -

Is it possible for the guy who earlier flew the drone over the stadium to check out the above claim, or show the work being carried out on bends 3 and 4. From what I heard from a fan in the crowd at last nights meeting they have dug out the track and the ground below the track as it was the condition of the ground before the track base was laid that was the problem. -

That makes a lot of sense, especially if you take the opportunity to visit local attractions or tie in visits elsewhere. -

I was wondering that, it would not be right if he was on the ftr rate when he may only score 1 or 2 points due to this somewhat strange system. -
Very few clubs will win at Lakeside. It will just be a question of by how many points we get beaten.

Good result for Roscos Roobins, both Justin and Nick upped their performances and Jason had a great night followed by Josh and Rohan. Charles was struggling but there was no shame in that since he was a reserve racing as a heat leader under this crazy system, he should have been allowed to ride as a second string. Some fans have written Swindon off and put them in the bottom half of the table, lets see what happens by the end of May. -
One would have thought so unless the ground they built the track base on was dodgy, will have to wait and see what new problems are if they are made public.
